| Somewhat hypnotic, and it made me wonder how it was done in 1982. A youtube commenter said it's stop motion animation of pictures stuck on different sides of a physical box. It must have taken a long time, and some shots were interesting. It would be easy to dismiss this because these kind of box animations have since then been very common in computer demos and later animations, but at the time there must have been a lot of physical work involved in trying to create these illusions of 3d. |
