Well Ayl was willing to service Naoki. Might be her female instinct screaming to mate with strong male. He one shot her a B rank. If Naoki was willing he would be S rank or higher by now with his stupid high level. That would probably make it hard for him to take low rank quest to exterminate bugs and other vermin. Not sure what's more embarrassing, S rank taking G rank pest extermination quests or G rank taking F/G rank quest and being laughed at by senior adventurers. |
| I'm torn between knowing i'm going to miss all four of those characters after only four chapters but also happy that we are going to see new places and new people. Hopefully they meet up again down the line but i do find myself liking the main character. |

| Going on a quest with Balzack resulting in overkill. Goblin Slayer would be proud. Considering how easily the slavery topic was resolved, introducing it in the first place was rather unnecessary. But it's nice that they are able to make a living now. Sera was visibly distraught. Naoki caught a wild Ayl. A new companion. |
