| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- For some reason, I find the mood of this show to be appealing. These girls may be competitors but most of them have friendly personalities. As for the vechicles, I really like the designs of some of them. Seems like this show balances a bit between a causal atmosphere to competitive. Not bad.  |

| Seems the girls have lot's of troubles to solve not just the main pairs but the other pairs as well. Guess the anime is about solving their own personal problems and not racing with bikes tho so far i have to say that the anime doesn't stand out much. It's not very interesting for the time being. |
| Good episode again. All the girls are gonna be staying together for the tournament? This is gonna be fun. XD I also really like the designs for each of the girls. Seems like each pair has their own problems to handle, should be interesting to see how they do it. The racing scenes are definitely my favorite, quite well done. Looking forward to more. |

| So we get a look at the other characters, their personalities and what their problems are in this series. I guess they are trying to establish the depth that these girls have even though I still feel that most of the characters are horribly 2-dimensional. The episode was better than the first at least but our "main" team being the Miyake girls don't really sell this series for me because in my eyes, they're just not really likable. Being focused on doing well in this sport for the sake of a man and having difficulty getting along outside of racing as a result doesn't sit right with me. Like being able to separate working together in a sport and having this ridiculous rivalry over the teacher doesn't seem believable in terms of how they can maintain their focus. Especially when you take into account that they are high school girls so of course their hearts are going to be in conflict with their minds. But that's just my opinion. As far as the other girls go, the whole blackmail routine with the Lightning Tornado team is....interesting but what's sad is that there's more depth to them already than our main girls. I'm still not entirely sold with this show as some of the elements aren't believable when it comes to a clash of personalities and how it affects the overall plot of racing but then again this is only episode 2. Also, what's really a blatant oversight is the lack of regard for safety in this series. You don't wear a helmet because you need to "hear" how your vehicle performs and take in the sight and smell of the environment? Um hey guys, you do realize there are other styles of helmets that these girls can use right? It's going to be the little things that will annoy me for this series assuming I stick around past 4 episodes. Anyways, 3/5 this week. |

| There is so many characters, but their design easily connects them into pairs. More focus has been put on other teams in this episode. I do not buy main girls motivation. They want to win and go to Man island. But what do they expect from sensei? Big love after confession? I don't think it is a well designed part of story. Still, I wonder how it will go. I'd say it is a surprisingly enjoyable show. As for episode - 3/5. |

| I wouldn't normally enjoy this type of show, but I'm actually liking it quite a bit more than I expected. The complexity of the racing mechanics is interesting, how it really takes two people who have to be in harmony, and (at least from these first two episodes) it seems they're setting things up to juxtapose that against the lack of harmony between the two racers in many of the teams. I'll keep watching for a while. |

| I honestly prefer this episode than the previous one since we get to know more about the racers. I'm finally getting the hang of this show. And, of course, Megumi and Yuri still see each other as rivals over their coach which we can't see his face. Lmfao. | So they first told the end and now they rewound the tape and started off with the knowledge of the girls? I would have preferred the opposite, however, this is not a bad thing. The characters are not bad, but little is known about them, the conductors of the show, they are fun, for now they are the best. XD |

| Oh dang, to think I almost skipped out on the Girls-Riding-Bikes anime of the season... which has been a thing longer than it should have been... TIME TO START SHIPPING THE GIRLS UNNECESSARILY, I mean, it does seem like the type of anime that will push that, at least with some of the groups, just gotta wait for the hot spring / beach episode I guess. On that note, I like the main duo and the fact that they hate each other enough to drop each other right at the end of a race being broadcasted live. And it feels like genuine hatred for each other rather than a basic tsundereish relationship. I look forward to seeing more of this. |

| I want to like this, but I'm just not feeling it yet. First episode was actually okay for an introduction, but this one was kind of dull. I'm not sure how I feel about the main girls' motivations, i.e. having the hots for their coach. I can get over the eww gross factor, but it seems like a rather silly way to add un-needed conflict between the two, even if they both claim they won't let it interfere with their teamwork. Anyhow, I hope the focus stays more on the racing itself. Also, at the risk of sounding like Mr. Nanny, that was a craplousy excuse for not wearing helmets. |

| Oh, well, after friendly match, here we came the real match on the racing island. I guessed, i couldn't wait too long for seeing their action controlled that side-motorbike after a nice battle in the previous one. Its quite the right time to dug more into their characterization and more development over their interactions. It seems another couple had their own problem, instead just focusing to our main heroine that had a long rivalry among them. I may called that decision as a justification moment toward every other side characters. Not so good. But its an okay attempt. Lets see how they solved their own bad relationship, there! |
