I absolutely love how deep the first episode is.
The animations fit the series so well, too!

I gave a NOOT because imo that transcends any other rating, idk if it was meant to be a 0 but that's how I interpreted it. No generic rating could possibly tell how great Pingu in the City is.
when ur about to have a refreshing sip of earl grey tea and someone says "traps are gay"

Pingu goes to a restaurant where he works, but a blunder on his part forces him to make a quick decision. While cleaning up his mess, he miraculously stumbles upon an ingenious recipe, improving the meal that was intended to be sent to a customer. However, when asked to recreate it, he fails to even get close to doing so.

Basically, a glorious concoction and product is a rarity and trying to replicate it would merely create horrifying results. The lesson is to understand that some things are best left spontaneous, and not forcibly enacted in the spirit of replication. Because you'll be lucky if you can merely recreate an accurate shadow of its inspiration.

Notice that at the end, Pingu smiled at the camera, appearing mischievious. This reveals his true intentions in a single moment. He was trying to teach us this lesson all along. It appeared at first that the show was trying to teach the audience this lesson through circumstances that happened to Pingu, and didn't appear to be under his control. It's an impressive switch and something that tends to go over the heads of many first time viewers who are unaccustomed to Pingu's signature storytelling style.
