| Why does this exist? Series 3 (including 3+1) was the best of the OVA series (especially the English dub), and I had hoped the story would continue, after I saw the last episode in 2005. Now, 12 years later, we get... THIS! I hope noone wastes time dubbing this #$%^& trainwreck of a series. I assume, whoever made this, had never seen series 1 to 3, and was just going for the bucks (or yen, in this case). Anyone who has seen GXP and War on Geminar knows how those series are tied to the main story line, anyone who hasn't, doesn't care. This series was an action-adventure comedy. What doe we get here, no action-adventure, and very little comedy (the Ryoko fish mouth bit was funny though). I only avoided giving this a "totally sucks" mark because of a few scenes, and the opening music of episodes 1 and 2 (really, this is the only time I watch the opening credits and skip the rest of the show). I pray to the gods of Japan-imation (アニメの神) that the FLCL sequels don't suck as badly as this disaster. |

| It's a mystery that anyone bar an obsessed fanfiction writer would even think up this story but to be animated boggles the mind since it was basically pointless. Mind you I only ever watched this stuff for the wooden lightsaber. |

| I don't understand why Seina's name keep getting mentioned over and over for no good reason. Even Washu talked about him and Yosho even mentioned him while talking about Tenshi's mother...like wtf Seina had to do with Tenshi's mother? C'mon. It was ok to talk about him a little in the begging, but so much time of these ovas are being spent talking about Seina. Godammit it's so pointless. |
