Everyone is screwed up in the head. I just feel that the next page could have been another one where the males are peeing from the cliff and the piss just says "The End"... boy they loved that type of shot...

So we get the stupid [character-doesn't-end-up-with-lover-because-I'm-not-sure-if-I-still-love-him/her] ending... stupid.. while the other party is still waiting.. It could almost leave me heartbroken but than I refer back to my first statement and go on with my life..

After finishing this manga i would consider it a bitter-sweet ending depending on who's perspective you look at it from.

From Shota and Kenzou's perspective it could be a sad ending seeing that Kenzou faked losing his personality and memories so he could be alone and see if the emotions he had for shota were real and genuine. He wanted to know if he truly loved shota and if he did then he would come back to him but who knows how long that can take (Weeks, Years, Never). While Kenzou is on this journey Shota will be waiting for god knows how long alone. Another issue facing shota is the Arume's plan for him seeing that he has the Genetic DNA capable of reviving the Male Arume and stopping the extinction of the race.

From Humanity's perspective you can consider it a Good ending seeing that the Arume Military withdrew from earth ( However Arume women Continue to live on earth mating with earth women), the Arume farms where young high school girls are conditioned to love the Arume alone were closed, Arume street was dismantled, and Ma-chan changed the policy on how the human populace was ruled.

However, the fate of the Arume's existence depends on how much they want to revive the Male Arume population through shota. That may be a slippery slope to climb since Arume like scientiist Ra-chan wanted to continue having sex and reproducing with earth women knowing well that the Arume blood will become thin and eventually disappear. In her words "If Arume Disappear amongst the Girls of Forume(earth) then there is no more beautiful form of destruction". (Vol.2 Ch.11). we can speculate that conflict will rise between those that want to revive the Male Arume population and those that want destruction by continuously breeding with earth women.

I found this series very interesting by how it showed humanity at the mercy of an alien conqueror who genetically modified humans, took the women as partners, and treated men as second class citizens. My only issue with this series is that it's very short. I feel like the author could have added a lot to this series if they wanted.
