I'm watching it because I don't have neither PS Vita nor PS4 so I hope the adaptation is faithful and worthwhile

The reason I plan to watch this....

is because I heard many good things about the story of this game, and also because I want to see a reverse-harem being done right.

There are only three reverse-harem that I liked and those include Ouran Host club, Yona of the dawn and Kiniro no Corda.

Man, I hope they don't mess this one up :/

I love steampunk theme and Cardia's design is so pretty. I was interested in the story since the I knew about the vn.
Romance and reverse harem are worth it too if adapted well

I'd recommend reverse-harem that are not based on big-company Otome games, particularly ones based on manga tend to be good (like Ouran, Yona of the Dawn, etc), because they are not made by the big money-loving companies who tend to use super generic stories/characters, but by mangaka who work for their passions rather than big money so they use more depth for characters, story, etc.

Here's some I watched that I thought were good because they weren't formulaic like Otome game adaptations and had heroines with actual personalities (the first two being tomboy or "reverse trap" type heroines like Haruhi from OHSHC):

- Aoharu x Kikanjuu (This feels a bit less of a harem, and more of a "potential" harem, because of the limited romance, but maybe it's expanded on in the manga? I honestly don't know if I'd classify this as reverse-harem/Otome, tbh, because it feels like a hybrid with action.)
- Kenka Banchou Otome (Sadly this is a very short anime.)
- Kiss Him Not Me (A problematic-favorite of mine. Has some bad messages, but somehow I still loved it.)

Some that are based on games, but were "different" or likeable (to me) in some way:

- Arcana Famiglia (One of the very rare adaptations where the female is actually strong in physical combat and isn't acting as the "pure girly maiden" but rather "tsundere". I haven't actually finished, but what I watched was decent. Just wish they gave her pants.)
- Norn9 (3 heroines capable of combat, and unique sci-fantasy setting. Sadly the main heroine is generic pure maiden/doormat type, but the other two heroines were very cool, imo. I would actually buy this game if I had a Vita since it's in English and you can choose which heroine to be.)
- Uta no Prince-sama (maybe you won't like it because it really is formulaic/generic, but I found it hilarious in the comedy aspect simply because of how cheesy it was. Only really fun to watch with a friend. The heroine is super annoying and dumb. I only watch it for the guys' shenanigans. If you don't want to sit through it, I recommend at least looking for the finale of each season just to see how ridiculously cheesy it is in the last episodes, because it's comedy gold.)
- Kamigami Asobi (The heroine wasn't too annoyingly girly in this, and the music is great. Or maybe I'm biased with purple-haired heroines? I also liked that it wasn't just all the guys drooling over the girl, but some guys were more focused in their bonds with other guys.)
- Hakuouki (Otome with action and history. The heroine is also not too girly, though she IS supposed to be in disguise as a boy, and it's hard to even see her as even a tomboy, because she still looks/acts like a girl. Nonetheless, she's cool if you consider the time period they're in was when women were expected to be totally obedient/pure.)

Honestly, I just tend to prefer either "shoujo-adventure with actual action heroines"(like Otogizoshi), "josei"(like Gokusen), "all/mostly male cast" (like Starmyu or Yuri on Ice), or "unisex" anime with minimal fanservice and good gender-balance (like Psycho-Pass, Pandora Hearts, or Magi).

I also recommend a comedy anime like Osomatsu-san, because they make fun of the Otome genre anime in several episodes (especially the first episode if you can find it, though it was banned on Japanese TV).

Well, still I'm also going to give this anime a try.
Tbh, I don't have very high hopes since it's an otome game by a big company. Even if it isn't good, it's still much better than having to sit through the moe lolicon-fanservicey anime, anyway. We'll see.

Coincidently, I've already seen all of the ones you've mentioned...
The only reason to why I didn't include that was because I'm just putting my top three in there. I think I just worded it incorrectly. They're not the 'only' ones I like. Sorry if I was misunderstanding xD

The reason to why I chose Ouran Host club, Yona of the dawn and Kiniro no Corda was because it really made me FEEL things.

Ouran Host Club introduced me to the reverse-harem genre and the comedy was very entertaining. Yona of the Dawn had one of the best characterisation I've witnessed in a heroine. Kiniro no Coda actually made me started playing an instrument because I was so inspired by it.

I do tend to have some sort of interest in otome to anime adaptations, and Code:Realize was supposedly one of the most credible games out there. Hopefully, that also translates over to this anime. I've seen too few good otome adaptaions, and way too many bad ones.

Because ALL my favorite (or potential favorite) fictional characters - Arsène Lupin, Victor Frankenstein, Abraham Van Helsing, Dracula, et cetera - are in it.

I'm also interested in/curious about the Steampunk genre, so there's that.

Of course, Cardia's design is absolutely, positively beautiful that I'm actually thinking of cosplaying as her at some point in the future. :D

Okay, I have started watching it finally, and I can say this is definitely much better than I expected it to be, definitely above average for an otome anime.
Actually it feels a bit more like a Shoujo than an Otome/Harem, as it isn't just about all the guys being all over one girl, it seems to be focusing on one relationship.

I love that the heroine looks and acts/sounds like a teen/adult rather than a child, and does not have the squeaky moe voice (though it is high-pitched, but not annoyingly-so). She's pretty, modest, and cute without being moe lolicon-bait, and even wears pants a few episodes in.
I don't mind that she isn't so assertive, though normally I wouldn't like it. Maybe it's because I have low standards with Otome anime, or because it is an Otome with action elements and actual plot that keeps you entertained.
