We got both an epilogue as well as a bit of a kek finale but all-in-all I think it was a decent ending under the circumstances. Bit of a hard premise to put the lid on in a serious way regardless
Reading the author's afterword was a bit interesting. Clearly the loli laws have changed over the years as we know, and the Olympics are partially to blame. But as long as he won't let that stop him and keep catering his future works towards lolicons as well then well, ganbatte sensei~ ^_^
Overall I really liked it. One of the more enjoyable ecchi manga I've read in the last couple years. 8/10 joe_g7 said:That ending wasn't what I was expecting, but it was definitely the dream ending anyone would want xD. For a moment I thought they were gonna pull a "it was all a dream" thing, but thankfully that wasn't the case.
This was definitely a very enjoyable ecchi manga, and I'll be looking forward to Uran-sensei's next work. 8/10. DarklordVor said:Hmm, Uran seems to setup an interesting "open-ended" type of ending where he/she can setup these spinoffs and sequels to Mujaki no Rakuen. This is definitely one of the best harem I've seen, despite being a little rushed in the end.
Uran-sensei really delivered and I love him/her for it. I hope we get to see spinoffs for Shouta x Sayo relationship. I still don't get why Shouta separated from Sayo for some reason, but I guess that's so that you could write multiple endings on the spinoffs. Hopefully Uran-sensei and fans do justice on his/hers spinoffs and make them all have happy endings.
The paradise never ends, even when the publisher asked you to end your series, the paradise will never end. toinho2 said:Well, it was a fun ride, and a real conclusion face to problems Uran had these times. Shouta separated from Sayo because she was study overseas. mankatsu said:Well this was a decent ending at least Uran didn't go with a dream scenario. I personally liked the fact that she left the ending open to a sequel/spin off. Hopefully sometime after the Olympics and all the heat dies down maybe Uran can work on a proper sequel. Still sad to see this manga go but at least Uran seams to be keeping her chin up. hulkedoutdude said:DarklordVor said:Hmm, Uran seems to setup an interesting "open-ended" type of ending where he/she can setup these spinoffs and sequels to Mujaki no Rakuen. I don't think they are separated in that sense,She went to study at some foreign university and they even promised to get married as soon as she finishes her studying.. I seriously didn't like the 5th to 20th chapter of this series at all for it's redundant skit but looking at the overall, it's still a fun read.
My wish for the spinoff is to see more of Rio's dere side. blenderben said:
Was there a significance with Sayo and Shouta drifting apart? After so much build up, it seemed kinda sad they just drifted apart?
The way I see it, Sayo eventually realized that she cannot outdone Shouta's feeling for Konomi...though I can't tell if she had given up completely, maybe yes because she only informed her classmates from the reunion that Shouta was drowning and didn't save him personally....and maybe no cause she supported the young Shouta who had no idea of the time slip till young Shouta became a decent adult.
But yes it's sad they didn't end up but that's also to have an open ending perhaps. Zero_r2 said:meh, not sure if liked the ending but still a nice read for these years, 8/10 for me, vivan las lolis! CapsulateRhyme8 said:It took me ages to finally finish it, but this series was amazing. Uran left it open to new content in the future while still giving a satisfying and conclusive ending. Hopefully the restrictions against loli stuff will ease up someday, and I really can't wait to see something new from Uran. omiguy89 said:Truly one of the best loli mangas out there and the fact that I binged through it(very rare for me to do) proves it. The ending romance felt like a cop out imho tho they were obvious contenders(Sayo best girl and Konami) but left it open and I hate not having that closure of the MC finally getting the girl he wants and instead went back to change things again (for the better or worse). Overall really good 8/10 would of given it a 10 but that last bit dropped it for me still highly recommend it even if Loli's ain't your thing.

That wasn't Sayo. She was wearing a traditional dress, remember? It was Suzune.
Anyway, I'm kinda dissatisfied that he has to go through the ordeal all over again... or does he? The author was not quite clear if he really went back from the very beginning, or after he went back. Mailo91 said:I can't believe it! The ending was so cool... so why make such shitty final pages?!
Not sure if some of you guys already know about this but the author did a short spin-off of this called: Mujaki No Rakuen Parallel.
Contains 7 chapters. The final chapter continues where the series ended at (Volume 12 chapter 78). Go read it for the conclusion.
If want more stuff like that and don't know the folks translating Uran's manga it's here |
