So 008 get not one but two episodes focused on him and his background it seems huh, well not really complaining as his have probably been the most interesting so far.

008 gets outdone in his own episode! This was supposed to be his time! And of course everybody else shows up next episode. 008 can't just have the spotlight then?

It was a much better episode than 007 but still below 003. Because 003 didn't need help. She sorted everything out herself. And in the fighting, she was the star. I just want 008 to keep the spotlight all to himself, if only for one episode.

The shot of 008 on top of Dolphin-go was pretty cool. And the way the tanks exploded was as well. 002's cockiness getting himself hurt was classic him. Joe has to appeal to every cyborg he sees, even in the middle of a gunfight. FWIW, he has been successful enough using talk no jutsu not to stop now.

That early aughts CG rock is rough. Just like the CG in the OP. At least it doesn't last that long.

I wish it wasn't obvious Mamado is the guy that's gonna die next episode. But old manga were rarely unpredictable so I guess the story tracks. Hopefully, they can provide a REAL shock eventually.

Shout out to Norio. Making the most out of the least. Maybe paying Norio costs to much to read those lines. That might be why he rarely has much to say.
