She wanted to die at araragi''s hands in order to return him back to human while also taking his pride in count. I don't think that she TRULY wanted to die in kizu I think she just wanted araragi to become human again. |

| Yeah, she could, but I believe she's honoring Araragi's wish, to live on. I didn't watch the movie, but at the end of the novel, Araragi says that if she wants, she can just kill him, so their pairing would wear off and she would be back to being a vampire. That's what the wound refer to, the wounds they inflicted each other. She turned him into a vampire with the only way to turn back into a human being to kill her off, and he turned her into a semi-existence with the only way to turn back being to murder him. And no one wants the other dead. They cancel each other out. |
| I think it's important to note that another reason she wanted Araragi to kill her was to make up for what she did to her first servant. She let him kill himself instead of dying to return him to being human. |
