| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- I am sure that pyro-man is just drunk when he said fireworks is actually flat! As if that would put Kazuhiro off since he is all ready for some adventure! Look how he dressed up! I was sure Azumi was up to something the way he brushed off Norimichi bringing up the the contest in the pool as if it never happened. But then Azumi suggesting that Norimichi to go and see a doctor makes me think he is actually a nice guy after all. He even warned Norimichi that he could end up dying if he ended up getting tetanus. Azumi suggests that Norimichi goes and sees his father (probably a doctor?) and he will convey it to their friends that Norimichi might not make it to the fireworks. After refusing to tag along with Norimichi, Azumi tells him that Nazuna will be at his place. He asks Norimichi that he tells her that he couldn't go with her. He also tells him that Nazuna asked him to go to the fireworks with him which confuses Norimichi. Norimichi tells Azumi that he should go since Azumi liked Nazuna. But Azumi denounces it like there was no such thing even though Norimichi was sure Azumi always liked Nazuna. But Norimichi was left stunned at how Azumi completely brushed it off. As Azumi shows up and meets the other boys and heads for the fireworks, Nazuna is left waiting at his place where Norimichi shows up. Norimichi probably felt like a complete idiot when the doctor (I am guessing he's Azumi's father, the way he talked about Azumi) tells him that such wound will never result in a tetanus. As Norimichi waited for his medicine, he breaks the silence with Nazuna who sat across him and tells her that Azumi won't show up. As Nazuna makes her leave, Norimichi probably feels worried and goes out only to find her standing across the street. My heart melted seeing her face!  As he followed Nazuna, she tells him that whether he would go with her instead of Azumi if it were him. She thought she would invite the one who would win in the contest to go with her and she thought Norimichi would win. So, she asks him why did he lose? Norimichi tells her that because she was fast in swimming. I thought Norimichi knew all along that Nazuna was running away from home. But seeing how surprised he got after she told her she ran away from home took me by surprise as well. And then she tells her it's up to him decide whether her running away from home is a joke or not and even tells him whether he understood why she wanted him to win. As she turned the corner, she ran back being chased down by her mother! As she cried and told her mother that she didn't want to go back, she begged Norimichi to save her but Norimichi stood there without any power to do anything. It was heartbreaking as he realized she wasn't joking and she really wanted him to save her. As soon as Nazuna is taken away, the boys show up and making fun of the situation that made Norimichi snap as he decides to let his fist do the talking! Azumi failed to keep his promise and it made Nazuna cry. Norimichi thought if only he won back then this would never had happened. Norimichi picks up the round stone that dropped out of Nazuna's luggage that was left behind as her mother forced her home and throws it with anger while screaming "If only I..." Did we have a time leap? The time is rolled back to when the three of them were about to contest in the pool! A miracle has taken place! I wonder if things will be different this time around! Will Norimichi win and change both his and Nazuna's future and save Nazuna? I love elements of fantasy in romance stories! Cannot wait to see this animated by SHAFT! |
