| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- The cute first part was almost too cute for me to handle and I loved it when Suijin called Asahi by her name for the first time. And seeing her so happy almost melted my heart until she fondly asked him to call her by her name again only for him to tell her to go back to her own world. :| As for the final segment, it looks like that troublemaker boy's name was Kurose. I don't know if he still goes by that name. It seemed like he was from Asahi's world. I am not sure but he could be from a different timeline. Just by the last few pages, it seems that he had a terrible life. It seemed like that black-haired woman was his family, perhaps his mother as it wasn't revealed. She was having sex with a guy who seemed like her boyfriend rather than his father. Worse if she was a prostitute. I think because of that he hated himself and avoided being with people as it seemed he had no friends. He even rejected that girl's confession almost blatantly. And it seemed like he was bullied in his school as well which ultimately led to that push on his back. Did it result in his death I wonder. I don't know if he actually died after the fall or just made a pact with Yami no Kami before dying in the underworld as he cried out that he didn't want to die. At least we know why he seems to have such a twisted personality and hate for the living in general. Decent backstory and a good cliffhanger! Couldn't have asked for a better chapter! 5/5 |
