How is Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni. rated higher than this?

I mean I enjoy Isekai Smartphone but I gave it a lower score than 18if (Isekai is like a 6/10 for me while 18if is an 7, raising to an 8 if it does get better)

Well... the problem with that setting is that is overused, but looks like Japan doesn't care. It's nothing personal just my opinion.

It's cool no worries, I do kind of agree its overused but I dunno, I just like the setting since its kind of attached to my favorite genre(s) so >-<

i plan to watch isekai but i'm not sure why you made this post? why compare those 2 ?there are tons of anime out there higher than this one, if you want to complain then complaining about how this has a 6.19 rating not why another show is higher? besides anyway this is mal and the majority here are either fan girls with their ships or fan boys with their love for cliches so it's not really new to be rated like that.

I was wondering the same comparison. But it draws difference audiences.
Phone is very easy to watch & generic, casuals, drunk or braindead all ok.
18if is niche in style & episodic, and fewer viewers usually yield lower scores at mal.

Help the industry and buy Blu-rays and DVD's.
Noragami is the best anime ever.

18if is one of the obscure anime this season and therefore the users rating this show are most likely more experienced watcher who usually have a lower mean score, while the isekai smartphone show has about 3 times more users in total, so it's rather popular, popular means more newbies, newbies tend to rate higher. Hence it has a higher mean, either that or Isekai wa Smartphone is just better in the opinion of the majority...

One Piece episode 914 & 915 & 1027 were a mistake and 957 brought the salvation - FMmatron

its more concise storywise than 18if, plus is more fun to watch and the main character is basically a op archmage, and he is not pathetic unlike most mcs.

Plus 18if is too inconsistent, the pace is bad sometimes, a lot is left unexplained every episode.
I do enjoy this show but it feels like they are getring worse with each episode, since episode 6, seeing as episode 7 had no explanation at all as to why she had the syndrome nor what was her story. Instead we got a altered fairy tail, which was not bad, but unrelated to the main theme of this series. Nothing was explained about her in the last episode.

Ao yeah i can see how people can like a more direct and concise story than this one.
