Well, we know what happened when she finally drank a person dry, and I'm sure the same would have happened if she drank Alucard's blood. Only Seras would then have all Alucard's familiars, and Alucard would probably be absorbed into her as well.
I think he told her to drink his blood so he could die in peace...

I would think she couldent handle it, she isnt strong at all in the beginning. Maby later in the sery's it would have made an interesting scene. But i am happy with her drinking Integra's blood :)

Well, in most Vampire stories and lore outside of popular hollywood stuff, you only become a real vampire after you drank Vampire blood. Being bitten is not enough.

I think technically, Seras is just one of his familiars, even though it's different because she never was his enemy in any way.

So I'm thinking it'd just be an insane increase in power.

I also think he doesn't want her to suck him completely dry either.

Well, Alucard do wish for death, but if Ceras drank him dry, he wouldn't be able to be utterly defeated by a human, so that might not be the kind of death he's looking for.
...
In Hellsing, if a virgin is bitten, she/he becomes a vampire, but to be able to become a "true" vampire, you would have to drink someone dry, or alternatively,

However, looking at the two fledgeling teenagers in the first volume, they needed to drink a lot of people to become true vampires, whereas Ceras only drank dry one person. That might be because those teenagers weren't true vampires though...
As for now, Ceras don't really need any increase in power XD

Aside from the fact that she is always kinda opposed to use any vampire powers at all?

Well, it's definitely hinted at that the personalities of those they claim stays with them / in their head in some way.

I'm thinking it needs some serious willpower to control more fiendish types, and so, for Seras, it would onlyhave lead to problems claiming Zorin.

But mostly I think it's because she really doesn't like them. And making people your familiars seems to be some kind of way to make them immortal / carry them with you?

Of course, I guess Alucard doesn't mind that at all.

What I'm wondering though is: Doesn't it state in the first mangas that people who are not virgins anymore will become ghouls when bitten by a vampire? Or is that only in the first Hellsing TV and I'm confusing things?

Yes, anyone not virgin would become ghouls if bitten by a vampire. However, there is no way Alucard were a virgin when he became a vampire (He was around 40, and had been married what, three times?), so I guess that doesn't matter if you were to be come a vampire the "original" way.
And then there's the freak chips Millenium use...Now, I would really like an explanation on how a chip in your brain could make you a vampire...

Well, if Alucard really is Count Vlad Tepes aka Dracula, then he is probably the first vampire.

Some Dracula stories has him making a pact with the devil after his wife suicides to spite god though.
The original, actual Vlad was a great hero of the crusades though which fits with that Alucard says about
though.
I'm thinking he used some sort of artifact or a dark magic ritual to turn himself into what he is, spawned all the vampires somehow and became stronger and stronger.
It would explain his extreme disdain for all other weak vampires too.

I agree with Baman on Alucard becoming a vampire. Alucard also seems to have a shown respect for people who refuse to give up, regardless as to the situation. Giving up means death after all, and what happens if you don't give up and accept death?

As to what would have happened if Seras drank his blood, I think that it would have freed her from his service and given a power boost. I doubt that Alucard would have died from it considering his apparent desire to be killed by a pure human after a drawn out battle. "Only a human can kill a monster", right? Either way, it seems like with more familiars and experience, Seras has the potential to reach Alucard-level abilities.
Overanalyzing since 1988.

I think the only thing that would happen to Seras is that she would get a huge power boost.

Well she already drank Pip's blood which was enough to turn her into a full vamp and as much as I could tell, it didn't change anything (fortunately, imo) Alucard will always be her master whatever happens.
