This section of the rules governs over the act of the roleplaying. All members (administrative team included) are expected to uphold at all times.
Please find below the description and the punishment associated with the breaching of it.
Godmodding
Definition: Godmodding happens when a character appears to have god-like abilities or any unrealistic powers that don’t fit into the lore. It’s also considered godmodding to refuse death in fights or ignore role-players in scenarios in which said role-players are attempting to attack your character.
Punishment:
First Offense:
Warning and admin counselling in some scenarios
Second Offense:
A ban between 1 to 3 days, depending on the severity of offense
Third Offense:
Complete ban from the club and termination of all characters
Metagaming
Definition: When someone metagames, they are reacting to events and characters using out of character knowledge.
Example: knowing a character’s name when they have not met tet.

A ban between 1 to 3 days, depending on the severity of offense
Third Offense:
Complete ban from the club and termination of all characters
Powerplaying
Definition: Powerplay happens when a player dictate the actions or outcomes of another person’s character. You are not permitted to control someone else’s actions, and it’s generally encouraged you make emotes somewhat tepid to avoid this. The word ‘attempt’ is a golden word in scenarios where powerplaying might become problematic. It’s much better to attempt to beat someone, instead of flat out do it.

Killing of Characters
While character death is possible in Eden Gate, termination of characters are to be executed by the administrative team. Players are not allowed to kill another character at all times.
Punishment:
A ban from the club and termination of all characters.
Retconning
Definition: Retconning describes the act of undoing certain acts of roleplay for the sake to “restarting”. You are not permitted to force a retcon on players who are unwilling. You may only undo a roleplay experience if everyone who participated agrees to and with the permission of any admin staff. Retconning is strictly forbidden during fights, trials and events.

Cursing
Fitting terms such as “shit” or “fucking” may be used in roleplay. Modern offensive words used in homophobic, racist or sexist slurs may not be used.
