Did you read another version of the manga where there were more, but shorter, chapters?

The tankoubun version merged the chapters to 8 from 12 (originally published in the magazine Zero-Sum)

A surprisingly good read in the end from how it made the whole situation realistic, with some flaws IMO, but a Solid 6/10.

The personality of the male and female protagonist's aren't extraordinary at all, but the development and conclusion of their situation in the story was intriguing.
Even up to the finale, I don't think I can fully empathize with them both, but I think it was almost flawlessly wrapped up in reasoning.

Aside from the characters being bland in personality; of a basic heroine who's joyful on the surface but insecure on the inside, albeit hardworking to not be inadequate in life ... with the male being straightforward with no dreams in life but following his parent's successful path, but being very frank in honesty... The biggest flaw in my rational is their love itself or how lacking it was presented to concretely prove how true or not it is, because I believe in logic, that they're blinded by love for not feeling any other meaning in life.

That may be the reality though, because from how the story was presented, that's the impression I have which I feel is realistic.
My initial thought from the start was how I wasn't intrigued by this pairing for how uncharming they are in personality, and I ultimately still feel that it's somewhat disgusting that he never loved the little sister, but always had feelings for the older sister from simple curiosity and the circumstance of being arranged to date the little sister.

Ultimately though, as illogical as it is, in all fairness, they're in an odd situation, but I think it still all lies in circumstances.
Even though I believe that the heroine, Natsumi, moreso than the male, could easily love another man, while the male, Tougo was genuinely attracted to Natsumi for being intriguing to his curiosity... her Step-Mother's support for being in a similar situation as being the woman who the father replaced with from the original arranged wife is what grounds the odd situation as a simple aspect of dumb love.

To elaborate,
The conflicting emotions this story bring is good and entertaining.
From the insecurity of both characters in their guilt. The sad fact of hate from the little sister, Haru. The selfish desire of Tougo to date Natsumi.
Natsumi's depression of losing her little sister, Haru, along with her meaning of life to escape her household with her sister to a father who isn't proud of her and a step-mother she doesn't like, to then fall in love and find new meaning of just loving someone and moving out for independance. While Tougo as well, unchains himself from his family's path for his own and follows his love. 'Pretty good in how realistic it is in how complicated life and love can be.
