I stumbled across the OP last night and have since been hypnotized by its infectious cuteness. However, it looks like subs are unreliable for it. I've taken two years of Japanese, so can understand basic sentences and such, and since this looks to be a childrens show I'm just wondering if it's possible for someone who's had two years of Japanese to be able to watch this raw.
My first novel, Kardia has been published! Click here to read!

Actually drama would be easier than anime. Anime speech contains more colloquial speech and slang, and at least for me, is not easy.

Anime speech is much more clearer compare to drama i think.

Well, it depends. I watched Papa to Musume no Nanokakan drama raw and I could understand nearly the half of what's going on. I tried to watch Gintama without subs and I failed.

We are trying our best to release quickly. Back to the topic, well it depends on the episode. By the way, the op and ed are in Thai so any amount of Japanese studies won't help in understanding them.

You must watch around 1000 anime episodes.
I have watched, and I begin to understand... but it depends on the show.

Most of the general conversation in the episodes should be understandable for you. What will stump you will be the biological, zoological, and techno-babble words that they use. But in that case you won't be a lot different from a Japanese kid who is being exposed to those terms for the first time, because the words will be used in context.

So relax, watch and listen, and don't worry about the words that you "miss", you'll pick up more and more from the context of the story.

There's no need to watch this show RAW, LLS-WSRN is fansubbing it, they have done Episodes 1-23 so far.
