| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- So, it finally ends. I think it had an interesting idea, but it just didn't work. There were far to many characters for such a short manga. Most of them only got one chapter of development, only to return to be irrelevant. There was also nobody that I actually liked or could relate to. The main story was also just boring, and the whole last volume felt really rushed. Overall, it did have some cool parts but fails as a complete series. I hope Kishimoto's next work will be better. As long as he has likeable characters and focuses a bit more on comedy, he can make some decent manga. |
| I don't know how to feel about this manga. It had interesting concepts. Some chatters were even stellar. But the way the story was structured, I can't help but say that it was mediocre. I don't know what's up with the mangaka. He definitely has potential, but he always fall short of something. It's really sad that everyone keeps comparing him to his twin, Masashi Kishimoto too. |
