| So,today is the day we get to see the return of Berserk,one of the best manga's ever and my personal favorite.I loved the old 1997 anime which got me into the manga like duh,I felt the movies did a good job of telling the story so overall after 2 Golden Age arc's done in the past 20 years,I was happy to see Berserk 2016 announced and I had high hopes for it,specially looking forward to seeing it animated,theres a joy to it,seeing your manga animated.Loads of people complained why they skipped this or that,first of all if you want a remake and if they did a remake,and started from the Golden Age arc again,I'd kill myself and Im sure everyone would get sick of it.Returning after 20 years to the TV screen with your main character fucking some monster or killing children is not a way to go either,so overall I wasnt too mad about the choice of showing the Conviction Arc.The animation was dreadful and I though it got better over time and more bearable,some good bits like the Angel fights and the fight with Seropico,and I also heard that the Blu Ray version does something the movies did which is do 2d character faces with 3d animation,so nice step there,altho we cant find or watch that currently.The pacing of the anime for me was a bit too much like the manga,for example no real pace was ever established but counting in the 12 episode count it was okayish..,just bearly,the 24 episode anime had time to flesh things out,so I really really hope one of the biggest manga arcs gets its proper treatment with a 24 episode count.I dont bother with some better studio should have picked up Berserk,if nobody did it in such a long time,no one was gonna.To all of you that did bother to read this,anyone else mildily looking forward to seeing some more Berserk on your TV/Monitor screen?
