DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- the more i see of hideo the sadder i feel really. poor guy. this has felt like a very strange end to the story. all we have gotten is just some chapters of the survivors living... no real explanation of how the zqn were stopped... could i am hero have been axed? this ending has felt very strange. |

| The ending feels so weird. The last few chapters feel like they have been wasted on Hideo doing nothing but surviving alone. I would have no problems with that if we didn't have only one chapter left... I mean there's a possibility for a happy end with the other people having established a new place to live and all but how is Hideo going to meet up with them in only one chapter? What about the ZQN and Kurusu being the new King of the world? What about Hiromi? There are too many questions for just one chapter unless the last one will be extra long... I hope it won't be like this but I feel like I am a Hero will have a bit of a disappointing ending.. The manga went a bit downhill in the Tokyo arc in general imo I just hope all these plotpoints will be concluded in a satisfactory way... |

| Is the next chapter really the fucking end!? Like seriously!? We barely have any answers on how it all started, why they suddenly left, what was the point in Hiromi becoming a hybrid ZQN, why they suddenly had an interest in her, why the ZQN are fucked in the head but sane at the same time. Like wtf!? There's so much more too that this doesn't even feel like the end. What was the fkn point in that massive ZQN hybrid thingy? Whats the point of the whole journey other than surviving and then giving us a bullshit ending?? WHAT WAS THE POINT IN THE NEW CHARACTERS!!!?? If it seriously ends next week without a solid conclusion then fuck this shit! It went downhill after Asuda's death somehow. Everything up to that point was amazing and so engaging but now its fkng meh af! |

It's not like this would've been that hard to do^^ I mean we're almost there, just tie the loose ends together and it would be fine. If it ends like this then why did he even introduce these other characters? That would've been so pointless... Hideo being alone in the end as the hero that won't get praised by anybody would be kinda okay if the other characters would've never been introduced, not every story needs a "complete" happy ending but he introduced the others so they should tie into the main story somehow. I mean we even have this guy who loves Hideo's manga and all... |

I'm not sure how this has anything to do with this manga being so different. If you introduce side characters that never contribute anything to the main plot, then they are just wasted time. And like I said I would be fine with Hideo being the lonely hero if it wasn't for the other characters and all these plot elements that have no conclusion so far. Maybe the last chapter will be super long and answer all of the questions, but otherwise this will be a rather disappointing ending to a manga that was really, really good until the final arc This is of course just my opinion and you're free to disagree with it Mod Edit: Removed quote of deleted post. |

My problem is that the other characters had no real impact on the overall story and therefore I don't know what their purpose in the story is. My other problem is that there are a lot of unanswered questions and I fear that one chapter is not enough to answer those in a satisfying way. It's not that they have to meet each other, it's just that in my opinion, the time on the other characters feels wasted because I fail to see their purpose in this story. Just another group of survivors? Maybe that sounds good enough for you, but to me it just feels like we wasted time on side characters that were not needed. I was always wondering why the author spent so much time on them, especially the group in the city since they were introduced so late, but if that's everything then I'm a bit disappointed by the payoff. You can say that this manga wants to be realistic because in real life many things doesnt make sense (just like in previous chapters girl was randomly killed by axe), Hideo is important because is main character but in real life a main character doesnt exist. In real life every character is equal and important. So anothers groups doesnt have too meet Hideo to surivive and conversely. On this page completely randomly was shown paperboy http://mangalife.org/read-online/I-Am-A-Hero-chapter-12-page-10.html when Hideo was attacking by his zombe girlfriend. Makes sense? Not really but this is how this manga works. At least this is just like I see this manga. You dont have to agree with that. |

| On one hand I am appreciating the switch to Hideo after so many chapters without him, and to be fair — the other survivors only needed that one chapter for a "where are they now?". On the other hand, this feels like a very abrupt fade-to-black-to-timeskip. Right now I'm wondering how exactly this manga will end, as the last arc hasn't been too engaging for me. |
