| I'm really not the biggest Kuzu no Honkai fan, LOL But I love talking about MBTI! :) I think the characters are (mostly) shit, but even if it were possible to determine any of the personalities after only 5 episodes, you'd have to keep the 8 cognitive functions in mind (scroll down) to really pinpoint a characters' tendencies. The most relevant functions are the dominant and auxiliary functions, since those are the ones we tend to use the most. I'm really no expert, but based on that information, I'd say Akane definitely has some strong, extraverted intuition going on, so I think she's either INTP or ENTP (again, I have no idea :D) You could be right about Ecchan, since she seems to be a feeler and lives in the moment most of the time ---> introverted feeling + extraverted sensing. But why on earth would you think Hanabi is an extrovert, I think she's soo bad with people :'D I'd maybe type her an ISTJ, since she got the introverted sensing going on, like when she compares her past with Kanai-sensei to how her relationship with him is for her now. And she sometimes quite literally thinks out loud without really considering people's feelings first (extraverted thinking). I have no idea about Noriko (probably extraverted), but I'd say Kanai-sensei is a feeler as well and way too idealistic (about Akane lolol), therefore maybe INFP. And I feel like Mugi is very similar to Hanabi, maybe even the exact same type. I don't know. I give up. |

| Using MBTI for fictional characters is very dodgy and has even less probability to be accurate, since characters don't usually represent enough characteristics of a person. In a lot of ways they are stereotypes of people, and MBTI is just another set of stereotypes. So you're stereotyping stereotypes, gets too narrow, when the Jungian Function theory is left to be an ever expanding basis. Characters are mostly shit, and handled in a shitty way, I can't really think of them as people, let alone psychoanalyse them properly. But here are my best guesses: The author is probably INFP. But Hanabi absolutely is. The rest are FPs of some sort. And Akane is a narcissistic ExTJ of sorts. Or a narcissistic ESFP, though in that case she isn't slutty enough to feed her Sensing. There isn't an ounce of TP/FJ spirit here. It's all about personal desire above all else and making a mountain of a mole hill over it. |
