DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- We already expected this, but yay Lillie finally got her first pokemon, Shiron. Cute nickname, hell everything about it is so cute. I really like Lillie's development as a trainer while trying to conquer her fear. The moment she jumped to save baby Vulpix from falling. Respect. Also, RIP Jessie, you will be missed. :'(  |

| Incredibly heartwarming episode, I love how I still get emotional when a new Pokemon gets caught like I did when I was a child. Jessie being a tsundere is something that I didn't know that I needed until it happened, I couldn't stop laughing. |

| What I see is that this Lillie will be completely different from her game counterpart. This version IS a trainer with Alolan Vulpix' incorporation, it's just a matter of time if the Cosmog encounter is done in some way because then the plot will be completely different once Aether Foundation appears. Now about the episode, it was mostly Lillie's development which wasn't bad. She did a good job against Team Rocket at least lol And yep, RIP Jessie. I laughed at the end when Lillie was discussing with Mallow about how unbearable was the heat but as soon as Lillie said that she had A-Vulpix to be cooled, she is frozen by the Powder Snow xD A little cold imo |

| It was a very nice episode.Lillie and Shiron are really cute together.Her struggling with her phobia touching her own pokemon but still want to spend time and show how much she cares for it was beautiful as well.Lillie as a trainer looked pretty cool I hope we will see more of her battling.At the end she managed to touch Shiron when it was in danger but still she hasn't overcome her overall fear about touching pokemon.Funniest moments were when Ash asked Rowlet to look for Lillie and it brought back a watermelon and Jessie acting like a tsundere giving malasada donuts to Bewear and it hugged her to death lmao.Next week a Rockruff episode. |

| This was actually a pretty awesome episode honestly. In my opinion, one of the best Pokemon episodes for me, my reasons are pretty simple of course. The first thing is that I loved how they saved this for the later portions, if anything as well early, the reason being is because compared to previous seasons of the series, as far as I can say, this is pretty much the earliest we can get for character development and build up by comparison, and I felt the sense like in the end, it was actually very satisfying. Not only that it got an early resolution for Lillie, in the end, it did felt like the overall characters and such are feeling realistic, as if they are actually real there. Not to mention because of the previous episodes which few episodes were focused on Lillie, few tiny amount for Lana and Kiawe, which both of those got some decent background and goals, and this week we got some decent characterization for Mallow (which its more apparent where she looks and takes an eye towards Lillie and Alolan Vulpix in this episode, since she genuinely cares for their safety), while not being enough for her to be developed fully, it's a nice start, it gives more like she's pretty much a character rather than being just there. Unfortunately Sophocles didn't got this type of treatment which is pretty sad, but for the most part, the characters in the previous episodes which were developed along with this episode, made such a big impact. The second thing I want to address is more on the scene when Lillie's Vulpix got hit by team Rocket... that scene well, this was re-used the same way as XY's 2nd episode (I believe that was the episode when Pikachu got attacked and fell off from the building and Ash jumped over to save him, my memory is rather hazy a bit) but I found it more impactful in a way. It shows a bit more of a better executed way of doing it, while not being badass by comparison, it still holds more emotion and more meaning to it in my eyes. Third, this final scene killed me:  This scene was just nice and just... God damn it I wanna hug everyone there. That's how much it was done for me. If it made me like the characters faster and getting attach to them this much, then it must have done something right. Great episode. |

| did i.... actually shed a tear of joy in a pokemon sumo episode, damn watching this after kuzu no honkai made me so weak, still I was happy from the bottom of my heart from Lillie, I think a great deal its because since I played all the game already I saw Lillie (game one) grew so much in the story, that now even tou (anime) Lillie is completely different I still have a heart for her because of the games joag said: This series is more boring than BW. That's quite an achievement. Seriously, nothing interesting or hype ever happens. I got back into this after XY and sad to say I won't be following SM anymore when all we get is dull shit like Lillie being afraid of touching Pokemon. That's basically the main plot now, which is nothing but pathetic. The new main cast is made up of forgettable nobodies, the battling is almost nonexistent and the bewear gag is already getting on my nerves. I guess I can understand that, Pokemon xy & xyz were, story wise, animation wise, battle wise, character development wise, perfect, especially after BW which was rly boring(only the N bit was good, and that's just because the game was rly good, nothing else) oh well , this one sucks but, at least its watchable, unlike BW (and i rly hate the animation XD) |

It only really mattered in the Egg episode and this one, all others ot was just mentioned/briefly shown. But yeah, most of us can understand where you are coming from. Sun and Moon's pace really is sluggish and the fact that they mostly remaon on the island eliminates the new town feeling previous episodes had. Plus lets be honest here, XY&Z and the tail end of XY was mostly packed with excitement and adrenaline rushing battles. S&M is more relaxing. Anyway, we now know how Mimikyuu feeds itself... it just got a little more creepy. Also Ash isnt even safe anymore in the episode previews, poor guy. The buttmonkey status has got a firm grip on him. Fight back Ash! |
