Few questions about Trinity Blood.

I know this questions may sound a bit silly but...
1. Original author of novels Yoshida Sunao died before finishing history. After that his buddy decided to continue his job. So 12 volumes posted on MAL are written only by Yoshida and his buddy work is considered non-canon or 12 volumes are Yoshida+his buddy?
2. How many pages volumes usually have?
3. Plot is opened-ended or close-ended?

I know this is an old post but I'll comment anyway ^^'

1. Yoshida is the author of original novel series Trinity Blood (Rage against the moons & Reborn on mars). So even if he unfortunately died so early on the manga, he'd already written most of the story in a form of the novels. Even if his friend finished the story, I remember reading somewhere that he already had sketches for the final of TB. So I'm under impression his friend really just made it into the form of read-able text. Please correct me ppl if I'm wrong ^^'

2. Umm... somewhere around 160-200 p I believe?

3. I've heard rumors it's kind of open-ended.
