It is not aimed at people who wants to start the anime, but at fans who have seen it for 20 years.

This... Though without the inclusion of some of the recap scenes at the end, or the unnecessary cameos, it could have been used as one. Episode One is a bit disingenuous...

Anyways, not really a re-make, more like a re-imagining of what Episode One would look like after 20 years... assuming Gosho actually had this scenario planned out, and he didn't.
