Lots of action and fast paced episode with the gameplay. Nice.

I find it kinda amusing at the small talk Usui had with his opponents. Still, I think Seiseki played a bit too aggressive. Seriously, a RED card. Can't remember last time I've seen that being raised in this show. Good match though. Tsukamoto is still keeping the fighting spirit alive for the team.

That goal was great. A red card? they're under pressure. Tsukamoto better not ruin this chance!

I have to say seeing tsukamoto reach this point after all the failures and the growth he took to get here makes it that much more awesome now he's good :> It took him 18 or so episodes, but he's finally coming into his own.

I'm really happy to see Tsukamoto's confidence go up. It seems like just a couple episodes ago he was complete shit and now he's stealing and shooting the ball. They did us dirty with that cliffhanger, but hopefully the shot goes in.
People on MAL refuse to actually enjoy watching anime.

Your taste in anime isn't a personality trait.

MAL is literally just anime Twitter as its own website lol.

Tight game so far from both sides, and a lot of pressure.

That cliffhanger tho, hope it all goes well.

Took a while but Days has finally clicked. The matches used to be clunky, awkward and poorly edited...now they're finally dynamic, cohesive and full of life. Plus the tension is so thick you could cut it with a knife.

Didn't enjoy the first 2 thirds at all, but going into the last part of the season Days has been killing it.

+1 to this, While the matches in the first half of the show were poorly presented, Mappa stepped up their game ever since the training arc. I like to believe that the outstanding work they're doing with Yuri on Ice! influenced this. XD

Nitta and Kurusu are quite stiff here, They're able to see Tsukamoto in a new light now.
Speaking of Tsukamoto, I am so glad he's finally come through. It was pretty awesome as he spoke about how his playstyle relied on 3 important timings, Props to him for finally discovering his playstyle. Though technically he feels more like a mid-fielder than a forward. That play during the corner kick and his shot were great.
Kaoru's reaction to that play was priceless. XD

It's funny how no one thinks that Kurusu has a knack for passing. 'Disgusting ability to keep the ball', Kurusu. XD

Tsukamoto shot and cliffhanger end. :o

These last two episodes were definitely worth moving this show from a 6 to a 7. This is becoming a lot more enjoyable than it was even six episodes ago.

Lots of still-images / freeze frames but the directing was good.

Fuck, this is the worst pacing I've seen in so damn long. My god. You can't have 20 episodes of someone being shit, then suddenly make them godlike in 1 episode. God fucking dammit - this had so much potential, if only the pacing was good and they actually developed Tsukushi instead of this shit.

It's like they got to episode 21, and were like. 'Fuck, Tsukushi's still shit, but we're near the end of the season, and have to show he has the potential to become the next captain. Let's just make him really good next episode, who cares about pacing, we ain't got time for that'

Tsukamoto is became so strong. He didn't become better in only one episode, we saw him make progress in all episodes. His skill to catch the ball was already shown in the two or three previous episode.
Very good episode :)

It's a good thing that Tsukamoto is getting good at playing soccer and he's even considered as a threat already!

Tsukamoto's really grown on me at this point. In the first half of the series, he felt more like a cheap Onoda knock off, but his growth is actually somewhat inspiring. That moment where he was explaining the three opportunities to get the ball demonstrate how keen he is of his surroundings. I like Kazama's breakdown of how he's gone from simply wanting to play with everyone to actually loving the thrill of playing the sport. In general he seem to brim with far more confidence.

Great episode, after 20 episodes you really get to see how each player developed into something great. Tsukushi and that other guy with the screaming voice.
I wonder how this will play out.

Damn I'm impressed by everyone in the team, especially seeing Tsukamoto playing so well after all those failures

Seiseki is showing its true potential, nice to see the other players beside the main three scorers having some unique talents

That red card decision was rather questionable, I must say. But anyways, what else is new in this series?

Other than that, decent episode. Tsukushi's performance is being rather impressive lately and my boy Kurusu is doing what he can despite the immense pressure.

That injury sounded horrible, but I'm pretty sure that a muscle injury doesn't sound like a bone being broken...
Pretend there's something flashy and cool here.
