I never heard or read any news yet and I think that the manga is not far enough to make another season ..the manga update is very slow

I think the manga is the best way to enjoy the series. If it gets popular enough, I think it's possible for another season.

I didn't think Durarara would get another season and they finished the whole damn thing a few years later

It might be possible to get it next summer. 1st season needed 13 chapters, 2nd season needed 28, and manga is 10 chapters ahead of anime which means that it'll have 17 chaptersby the next summer. But nobody knows how anime industry works, I mean Code Geass is getting 3rd season!!! <3 NEVER SAW THAT ONE COMING

There is no official release date or anything, but lots of websites are saying that the 3rd season MAY be coming out in 'winter 2017'. But I'm not sure.

I don't think that it will get a 3rd season. At least in anime industry they stop after 2 seasons a lot of the times. They only make the 2nd season to tease you and (kind of) force you to read the manga if you want to know the story.

What do you mean? Manga is doing really good, and there is enough material (i mean manga is 18 chapters ahead). Now everything depends on anime industry

I mean in terms of writing and story....it's bad lol
We already have 2 seasons, and even the manga is milking itself out. The anime industry doesn't choose to adapt-they get contracted. It all depends on the advertisers, publishers, licencors, and such of the manga to determine if a third season will be made.
How do you think animes can have 2 different companies make two different seasons? If it was up to them, we'd have more seasons of the best selling manga and anime out there, without any other being produced.
As well, 18 chapters of a manga, especially Owari no Seraph would only make so much content. In a manga, 1 chapter can usually equal to only a fraction of the episode. With 18 chapters, all they could make is at least 5 episodes.
As far as I know, Shaft and KyoAni(my personal favorite animation studios) are the only anime companies which choose an anime to adapt, which usually is a light novel or manga produced by themselves.

OnS is monthly manga with 40 pages per chapter and for manga of chapters with 40 pages it needs chapter and a half, 3 chapters at best for 1 episode + the things they are gonna cut out like they did with the first 2 seasons and even if they announce it for fall we'll have 6 more chapters till episode 12. Im just saying that 3rd season isn't impossible and it is possible to have it on winter 2018.(highly doubt tho, we wont be getting new season for a while) And honestly i dont care, im into manga and novels now, so even if we get another season im afraid that they are going to screw up like they do in most of cases. So ill stick to the main source

Umm i heard that The 3rd season of owari no seraph will start airing starting from October 11th, I'm not sure but that's the only thing i found while googling :D

The author of the manga himself said that he wasn't approached for a 3rd season. And that regarding a 3rd season he would want to wait until the end of 2018/2019 start

Which makes sense all things considered

The single biggest obstacle is that the manga takes it's time in being published. Sure it's good that it's not rushed, still. Just have to support the series in the best way by buying the content of course!
