| NGL, I saw a singular out-of-context GIF from this on KnowYourMeme, and that's the only reason I'm here. For a "dumb fun" anime, this is pretty good though. Production quality is a bit unusual, with the rather simplistic piano music, the 3D models and slightly below average animation quality, combined with the actually nice looking artstyle, both character design and background wise. While not as spectacularly animated as something like Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei, this does have a similar feel of "If it's not jokes leading into jokes, it's not gonna be in the script", and I like that. All of the jokes landed for me. Really good first impression. This anime is 100% "for me". |
