She is looking at the world through Kei's eyes. Originally, it was Kei's iris that could see probabilities and it still does. It's just Kei is showing those probabilities to Rei. Because of that, they are seen from his, and not hers perspective. That's why the probability of "the omelette being good" was high, because it was the type that Kei liked when he was alive. oh,... thank you.. think some explanation does lost in my native translation as i guess.. and too lazy to checking english version... however, that kei imaginery still hurt me in a way... |

Either that, or irises has a way to pass down to someone closest to the one who died. Though, there's something I didn't get. Why can Sasamori and the others see their irises' ability in Rei's eyes? Well, she got an eye transplant after the accident, so she literally sees the world through his eyes - and that seems to include the Iris. Also, it seems part of his spirit/soul/essence/whatever remained in the eye, so the others can actually see "another person" in her eyes. |

| When the new chapter wasn't released in September, I thought the series went on hiatus again. Thank the heavens that we got another new chapter! Good chapter but as confusing as ever. Hopefully, the next chapter will clear things up a bit more. For instance, what did Toru ask Tokita for his opinion on? And where is Toru right now? I hope we don't have to wait for more than a month for the next chapter. I hope this series gets an anime adaptation soon. It would be splendid! |
