If I had given just three words to describe this chapter they would be — Fumi. Fumi. Fumi.

Fumi is the cutest thing ever. Getting into her own perfect world after seeing an onigiri, wanting to go to that department store after watching it on TV just to see the products, trying out lifting the weights on her shoulder! I dunno how she can be this cute! As Sensei describes her, she is clumsy, weird, has strange points like unusual strength for her tiny figure and so on, yet the best thing going on about her is how she would give her all just to make him like her, even for a bit. The way she handled it when Sensei brought up one of his ex's in the conversation made me admire her much more than ever before.

And now Sensei as a reward offered her his hand to hold! And this time, he ain't joking! ❤

I just cannot believe that Akatsuki still hasn't realized that this wanting to see her smile, this wanting to make her happy, this feeling that won't go away has only one name of it.

5/5

Riiiiiight? It was a great chapter indeed. She is such a pretty girl, with all her clumsiness and her way of trying to make him like her. As you said, she managed perfectly the 'ex-girlfriend' part, and sensei is getting curious at least. He likes her, of course, and he is starting to love her. But for a person who hasn't been in love before, those questions are normal I believe, that's why he can't find the right word to describe his feelings. THE FANDOM WILL HELP YOU, SENSEI.
I can't wait for the next chapter.

Yes! And I really don't want to see a love triangle in Yamamori-sensei's manga. The other one almost broke my heart. I am so glad that for once we get a manga where we don't have to get into those endless drama. Just these date chapters are good enough to make me smile. :)

Yes, I know what you mean. I loved Hirunaka no Ryuusei, and my ship was the right one from the beginning, so I didn't suffer like other fans. But I know that a lot of people were really angry with the ending, so perhaps in order to make peace with everyone she is giving us a love story with no love triangle in it. Which is great actually, kinda refreshing.
I dunno, a love triangle in this story would feel forced? Like... it is not possible giving sensei's personality and Fumi's too. It will be weird if she twists it like that.

Without spoiling those who might not have read the other manga just because they are checking out this thread, I want to clarify that I didn't hate the ending. I was happy for Suzume. I liked both male leads so it was difficult to pick one over the other.

Some stories make you really difficult to ship. For instance, in Chihayafuru, I am inclined to a certain ship but I simply cannot ignore the other because that one is almost equally lovable. While there are other stories, I simply DO NOT want a ship between two characters like Harumatsu Bakura. The divide in fandom is unthinkable. And one group of fans simply don't enjoy the other group's ship and vice versa.

And then there are certain manga where you just cannot do that. For example, Akatsuki no Yona. There's only ONE MAN for Yona and that's that. You DO NOT, I repeat, you DO NOT talk about any other ship (I am like "other ship? what other ship??" as I am posting) or you make me mad. /joking. :P

Hahahaha, you are making me laugh!
As you said, without spoiling, I think the ending of Hirunaka was great.

Oh, Chihayafuru. Such a great manga. It's a pity that it hasn't/it won't ever be licensed in English... And gosh, we are suffering!
I still don't know who will Chihaya choose, but I'm crossing my fingers.
I haven't read Harumatsu Bokura yet, so no comments on that.
As for Yona, ooooh yeees. There's only one man, and that's it. Of course, the others shippings are cute but impossible. NOT HAPPENING, GUYS, SORRY.
