Should the "who's subbing what" list be archived after the airing season is over?
Yes, that's a good idea.

I think it's a very good idea, when someone wants to watch an old show this could help find a reliable source and help decide which subs to get.

To do so would be great, I think.
That would make 'who subbed what' list. Quite useful thing, really.

Yeah, some people might want to watch some of this season's animes later. Not all the people have time to keep up date everyday and therefore watch those animes later on.

I've planned to do that even before this season... I have the site database almost ready so I can help you with the layout.

Definitely. Not everyone gets to all the series before they are finished airing. I for one, like waiting until it is finished, because I am obsessive and need to watch it til the end without a break.

If you go to bottom of all anime's on MAL it already has a list of groups who subbed certain works. That's pretty archived already. One could just go to the fansubwiki sight also. I guess if you just want to make another list it would be fine if people actually compare and contrast the work done on different series, like who's translation, timing, grammar, and word usage was the most understandable, legible and consistent.

Yo...
I think it's a great idea since I don't like waiting for the next episode to come out so I wait until it's finished airing altogether and when I do download it, I wanna get the best possible fansubs that I can.
A good site for anime fansubbing comparisons that you might wanna check out is...

Voting is closed and the results are in. Since over 3/4 of the member agrees with the idea the new "Who's Subbing What? archive." The thread will be created after the Winter 2010 season is over.

I can't believe I forgot to vote even after complaining. :P Anyway when will the new thread be created and how can we contribute to it? Also we should mention formats. For example, a lot of people like MP4 instead of MKV and some fansub groups do both.
