Everyone is evacuating Tokyo before in anticipation for Hirose's attack. Curious to see how the attack will play out, and what the characters will do to stop him.

Yeah, this is very much jabbing at America. Author must still be butthurt from nukes.

Anyway, another build up chapter to end volume 19. Everything is set up now, and it looks like Hirose has arrived.

The citizens are leaving Tokyo. Although Ludger seems to have returned and he and Taisuke met each other. I wonder what's going to happen with those two. A fight already? Or will he finally find the meaning he's been searching for.

As expected, a lot of main characters are in Tokyo now, with the exception of D4, McPherson and Katsumata. Surely Katsumata has got to play into this somehow. He needs to someone be eliminated as a threat.

Only 2 volumes; 8 chapters remaining.

Man, the interpretation of the American President looking like a badass, and then the fat nerdy looking Japanese Prime minister was hilarious. And then he just follows whatever orders the President makes, it was pretty bad lol

And that last panel of the buildings exploding was orgasmic. Toka's background art style is so gorgeous. Those lines, jesus christ.
