| Really intrigues me that astronauts can be so confident and full of themselves when they dedicate their life towards space but when at the brink of death they start to remember things they left behind for the sake of their dream and make their dying regrets. It seems that Hachi is fighting against this idea but his affection towards Tanabe, who serves as a reminder that he is ultimately a human being in the end, starts to cloud his dedication. Real interesting internal conflict there. |

| I wonder if his old crew was keeping an eye on him while he was training. That would make more sense than them just happening to be there. |
