>needs to write about zombies
>writes about "ogres"

Ogre woman is a metaphor.
A woman kills another woman in afit of jealous rage and loses herself then has sex with men and steals their hearts until another woman kills her for it and so the cycle continues.

Kinda insulting to write a chapter completely unrelated to zombies in an I Am a Hero anthology. They shouldn't had even allowed it in this book. Whatever, then.

It appears that the ogre is actually a zombie, and the ogre woman is a woman who was infected. Lila possibly makes a deal with her to take Eimii away so she can be with Yuno, but Lila too becomes infected when killing the ogre woman.

The beginning of the story takes place somewhere in the middle, chronologically; Lila loves Yuno but Yuno doesn't reciprocate.

That is, if you take this as part of the I am a Hero universe. Separately, it can also work as a metaphor for actions done out of jealousy and regret leading one to lose everything they'd hoped to attain, maybe even their own selves. The "ogre woman" could also be interpreted as a witch (in the fairytale sense), shunned by other women for seducing their men away from them.

There is also the aspect of femininity, since in this chapter the men are sort of "on the side". It's the women who confront each other: Lila has the ogre woman hurt Eimii, the ogre woman "steals" Yuno from Lila (who never had him to begin with, but thought she did), and both Eimii and the ogre woman are the casualties of another woman's jealousy.

Very interesting chapter overall, and great art.
