| Here we will describe the economic systems of Avia. It's important to realize, just as most things in Avia, economics revolve around the Kor. The core is constantly providing Lo that can be used as raw materials, food, and almost any resource possible. As things currently stand: 80% of that Lo goes to the Incas for research and for refinement. Refinement is the conversion process that allows Lo to become another substance. 10% of the Lo is directly consumed by the Av. Pure Lo from the Kor is the most nutritious of all food products, at least on average. 5% is used to create Food Pills. The remaining 5% is used for various purposes. |

| Shared Territory: Food Pills are the most commonly traded item within the Shared Territory. After all, food is not necessary for living, but desirable. Most importantly, it is the only income earned by the Aa and Cil. The majority of the raw materials produced through refinement are sent to the Shared Territory. The Aa and Cil are then responsible for creating furniture, plants, and other goods through agriculture and production. In return for this work, the Av set aside Lo to be run through a special machine. This machine, initially created in a failed attempt to generate several times more Lo from a small amount, creates many small, solid balls of Lo that contain considerably less nutritious value. These are Food Pills. Workers are paid roughly five food pills a week for their services, in addition to the right to live on Avia and participate in society. The envoy of the Shared Territory is also given any surplus goods created by the workers, though they rarely surpass the demanding quotas. The envoy generally uses these for public works products. |
