That's the life of a spy for ya. Meanwhile, others have been tailing Yuki's D-Agency.
Some of the ways to interrogate with the torturous methods also has an inhumane feel to it.

Well I find the episode somewhat interesting. I think the D-Agency has its flaws as well including conflicts between its own factions. The way the episode ended felt heartwarming in a way and is interesting to learn more about Yuuki's background story.

Man that was a really cool episode

However, I dunno whether or not I believe that the backstory that we got really wasn't Yuuki's....Either way, it was nice to see him grow up

So no soldier would blinding their enemy with dirt or attacking the "lower" part, huh? That sounds like a knight duel to me than being a spy who need to outsmart their opponent in any way AND unnoticed if they don't really do it.

Nice episode yet again, showing us what happens if you dig too deep into the D-Agency's secrets. Also a very clever move from Yuuki to use an almost dead man with the same way of writing a name as bait for potential spies. Hyped for next episode.^^

Interesting episode. Akira's (Yuuki's?) past was shown and it was almost convincing until discovering that things don't quite add up. A heartwarming ending to it, though.

Strong episode once again.

Nah, that's more of a Yuuki's past...I believe so, since it was claimed that Akira wasn't a military man.

Sweet little ending for the spy. That was nice to see. Not sure whether that Yuuki backstory is real or not, but it was interesting nonetheless. Decent episode.

Fairly decent episode, even if it didn't feel like we got too much out of it, what with much of the focus being on a character who is very blatantly never going to be seen again at any point. That being said, the way Yuuki set up a trap for enemy spies in such a clever way was very impressive and pretty interesting, though I'd imagine at least some of that is reflective of Yuuki himself, particularly the comment at the start of the episode about how killing or dying are the worst choices that can be made (since that's Yuuki's and hence D-Agency's mantra).

man the whole back story of Akira and how in that fabricated story he showed mercy to the people he was fighting with w/o using a knife, just like how this spy was shown mercy by another fellow spy, now that's True Class.

This episode was great, Might be my favorite so far.

Yuuki is OP, That fabricated story was amazing. Just how long has Yuuki been formulating these plans?xD
He even spared the enemy spy and let him lead a new life with his wife. He might even be a nice guy xD

The way they subtly slipped the ring out of his hand was really cool.

Great episode.
That last moment perfectly represents most man's life, there is always a woman that can always make his many happy and smiling and never let him down. Erin is a beautiful wife.
Loved that quote at the end.

Akira's backstory is Yuuki's, except some location changes it should be accurate.
The old man spy this ep. took too long i his spying, he should have given out the info 2 years earlier, he got too soft for a spy. but at least he got a happy ending with is wife.

The whole fabricated past of Akira was really well done. It felt really convincing, so no wonder it's used to bait out potential spies.

Because of that, Aaron had his whole work, 10 years worth of it, fall apart so quickly. However, he does have his lovely wife, Ellen, who I'm sure will be able to support him to he can get back on his feet again. It's nice to see a happy ending. =)

Overall, this episode was great, and I'm wondering if Yuuki has any weaknesses at all now! XD

Really liked that the spy get a happy ending at the end despite how his work got wasted at the end. Considering how the supporting characters have been ended in this series, it's nice to see someone who ends more or less well.

Yuuki's fake backstory was a great trick to bait spies in his trap, but I believe that some of the things attributed to Akira are in fact reminiscences of his own past but with different locations.

Well, only two episodes until the end and the only spies we still have to see in action are Odagiri and Miyoshi. I wonder how the series will end considering the episodic nature of the series.

that's very much what happened last week in a sense with the Wind agency head he went mad after being played thus ending his own life.

this was one of the more enjoyable episodes showing how damn op (pls nerf) Yuuki is and hes always thinking ahead way ahead!.

2 parts that had me cracking up because i could not stop thinking of pocket sand! and staredad with the viscount looking at Akira while reading his book

Yuuki's as awesome as ever.
So I expect the last 2 episodes will be a two parter about the "main" spy of the D-agency (the one who was doing most of the talking in parts 1 and 2 and explained the joker game). Correct me if I'm wrong though, since I'm having trouble following who is who.

I can't tell if that backstory was really Yuuki's own backstory or not with some tweaks here and there. Still, he's still badass as ever.

Next week, we'll get to see that D-Agent with sparse eyebrows.

I found this episode really difficult to understand. First we see the past of people with no relation to anyone in the series. Then we see a man being tortured and then he's freed. We never learn why and by whom. Then we learn that in fact he was a spy and had been working for 10 years (we never learn on which mission and why he gave up). Then he decides to never work anymore because he's old and tired. How is this related to the main story / Yuuki / D-Agency? It's never explained.

You are correct. He's the one - Miyoshi.

Ummm, two-parter? Probably not. Only "Joker Game" and "Double Joker" were arcs. Miyoshi's episode is named "Coffin"; there's no "part 1" standing next to the title of the episode so to be a longer story. Odagiri is the only one left from the spies now; would be shame if he doesn't get his own episode too.

I don't think we will have two parts with Miyoshi. Take in mind that there is still another spy who hasn't been feature yet (Odagiri), so, unless they are reserving him for the end (who would be surprising considering that he hasn't been featured that much to have the final episode all for himself), I don't see Miyoshi with two episodes.

Nice long con. All fabrication, or an amalgamation of Yuuki and Akira's past. Doesn't matter, Yuuki's awesome. Favorite episode with ease. Ellen is indeed adorable, though I'm not seeing the significance of the ring drop, or if her explanation was all there is to it. Some sort of red herring, I suppose.

Akira's (Yuuki's) backstory was rather impressive. I found a certain line of his particularly intriguing:

(Inquired regarding the reason of him not having used his knife.) "When they gather together, they stop being afraid of death. It's one of the things they teach at that school. If I'd used my knife, someone would have died."

His insight and perception are truly enviable.

So to me it seems like the backstory wasn't Akira's, but mostly Yuuki's in order to plant more "evidence" and make people think Akira was Yuuki? Just making sure I'm not confused here.

This was a very sweet episode.

I may have missed something but how did the D-Agency know about the information stored in the wedding ring? Is it just a plot thing? haha

Price-san's 10 years in Japan may have been a waste from a career perspective but at least he met his beautiful wife.

The manipulation of information and means of obtaining it is brilliant. To think that Yuuki's past was a trap and that Price was arrested for the sole purpose of lowering his guard to take the ring. Ohhhh, this show is AOTS. Especially liked that bit at the end where Price chose his wife over the decade of fruitless espionage. Yuuki has a heart of gold to provide the right path to him at that crossroad.
