| signed the old design was very simple and quick to use whereas this new one requires more time and effort to navigate through the same amount of pages. there used to be single clicks to modify account information or to view certain subjects but now users have to scrolls through new navigation bars and the like. it is also more annoying that the main navigation bar is at the top. although it looks a lot more professional it just isn't 'for the masses'. what about people with wider screens or small screens? it's just too slim now and the new 'extra room' given by the layout just isn't needed. the old design was definitely preferred. maybe by incorporating the new design with the simplicity and ease of the first layout with the style and professionalism of the new layout MAL will become a sanctuary! i hope others can agree with me when i say that the old design was much better |

| *signed* This new layout looks like facebook and I hate "fakebook's" layout. The logo is too huge and the easy navigation from the sidebar is gone. This layout is also way too vertical for my widescreen monitor :/ |

| *signs* It's not really that horrible. It might be just because we're not used to it. But for me, simplicity is beauty. And the old layout is really easy to use and much much more quicker. And my eyes are not used to MAL's wideness. O__O It causes eyestrain for me -___- :Dv This doesn't look like a Facebook layout. Just because the color is almost the same doesn't mean that it has the same layout. Facebook has no navis. MySpace does. O___O |

| i see 3 options option one is make it optional to revert back to original layout (save to the ip adress) option two is bring back old ways every where option 3, lose people because of new looks. |
