Is this anime a faithful adaptation of the manga? Or is the manga different?

i recommend you to read the manga after watching the anime, and read again around chapter 40- 50's , as it is the continuation of the one left from the anime.

They're very different and the order of events are also kind of switched around.

The Anime is much better than the Manga, if I were to compare.

Yeah LOL
The manga is like.. it doesn't feel like a sci-fi series.

The anime brings out all the good points, adds amazing sound effects/music, brings the world to life. I don't feel much with the manga when I read it but the Anime drags me in.

I think this season has a completely different mood than the first one that I'm having troubles to believe that both seasons have faithfully adapted the manga.
Season 1 was very much darker and dreary while season 2 focuses more on teen shenanigans and harem cliches.
If the manga is like this too, then it's badly written for failing to keep the mood it started with. But somehow I suspect that the second season got a lighter mood than the first, to attract a wider audience.
Signature? I ain't got no signature! I don't need no signature! I don't have to show you any stinkin' signature!
