| The reveal was disappointing. There is no way no one found out they were twins for years. And they didn't have any family portrets in the house or something. That barn was at walking distance from the house and at least the servants would have to go there from time to time. At the party there were friends of the father and no one even mentions the twins, it's not that common. Edit I went back and reread it and the hints were there. The back of the book has two girls holding hands. I still think it's unrealistic that no one found out, but at least a keen eyed reader might have figured it out. |

| That was a surprising reveal. I would think someone would have found out but then again, it's not like we live in that kind of era right now... so I really can't say. At least we're not dealing with zombies :3 |

Not disappointed that it happened. Disappointed in how it happened. Would definitely like to know why their father requested something that 1) seems so unnecessary and 2) should literally be impossible for children. Plus, I feel like the life they lived would have been less sad or difficult with their sister around and by their side freely. Idk.. |
