It doesn't really fit, but it's refreshing and sounds great. I don't have anything against it. Will get the full version.

I think it's a great choice. As I heard someone else say, it's great symbolism on the turmoil that eventually happens between Romeo and Juliet. As in the opening is calm and peaceful. Like what Romeo and Juliet's love seemed to be at first. But everything quickly turns to turmoil.

Following the first episode, yeah it definitely felt out of place for me. That song is really weird to hear after a bunch of fluffy cuteness, but it seemed much more apropos after I watched the second episode and the crap started to hit the proverbial fan. I think as the series progresses, as Crystal said, it'll become more and more representative of the plotlines destructive ending that we all know is coming.

I love the song, out of place or not. It reminds me a bit of what they did with Gankutsuou, having a calm and pretty beginning and a more 'rocked up' ending.

I liked it more than the OP, and I don't think it's too out of place.

I love this explaination and completely agree with it. I've always loved the ending due to the fact that it's such an opposite from the opening, but embraces the fact that the story is being told in a modern way and such.

I agree, I absolutely love the ED and I think it really fits ... after watching the first episode, I was like ... woah ... because I wasn't expecting that to be the ED. Because it was a really sweet, peaceful kind of sounding OP but I never thought that it didn't fit with the anime. Although it's definitely a contrast, especially with how the colors used for the ED background are all dark...
