| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- No one created a discussion for it yet? It was surprisingly better than I expected it to be. Parts of the animation were really impressive (like camera changing focus), soundtrack was quite good, as so were the characters. The weakest part was the story. I was quite good but it felt a bit rushed. 6/10 from me. |

| Mimuru was even more cute as a blob, better movie than expected although some scenes definitely felt rushed and just unintentionally hilarious as Black Jack's death was just like "Take care!" then proceeds to get blown up with Mother despite just not having that serious injuries. |

| lol still only 30min in but finding it hilarious, so damn random also that bar robot death was a Westworld homage edit: 34min in, and now a straight Hitchcock's Birds reference, even his name name is there... I wonder how much I lost so far... I mean, the intro is Superman-ish, the kissing in the beach looks like a reference to From Here to Eternity, a lot of animal design reminds of Fantastic Planet but might be actually inspired by something, like that cartoon sequel about how Earth is bad I know the cartoon that exact art style but can't remind the name, only Spy vs Spy is coming to mind.. oh yeah, and that space ship in the intro, straight out of 2001 |
