| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This episode felt kinda dull for the first half, a lot less thrilling compared to some of the previous. However, the gun and culprit with the simple yet clever trick was somewhat interesting. Kindaichi's analytic thinking still seems sharp. |

| This was great for a basic apartment case (don't see those too often here). I guessed she'd have killed herself the moment the stalker was smiling at them constantly (justice was served to him?) but during the string trick explanation is still makes you think of the culprits a bit more but ended up going back to that theory again. |

| Heh, I figured that the stalker was the killer and he just threw the gun through the window. I mean, that actually also matches the evidence and is a much simpler explanation than the complicated rope trick. It also avoids the question of why they didn't find her fingerprints on the gun if she shot herself. I mean, you obviously can't take off your gloves and hide them if you're already dead, so her fingerprints had to be there. |

| Quite a sad ending. The trick became quite obvious when you saw how everything was perfectly lining up. But I think the forensics could have figured it out if they tested for gunshot residue on her hands. |
