[*]Name of Sandwich: Peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
[*]Bun Type: White bread.
[*]Meat/s: N/A
[*]Cheese/s: N/A
[*]Topping/s: N/A
[*]Toasted: No
[*]Condiments: Peanut butter and jelly.

[*]Backstory:
Peanut butter was first paired with a diverse set of foods, such as pimento, nasturtium, cheese, celery, watercress, and on toasted crackers.[3] In a Good Housekeeping article published in May 1896, a recipe "urged homemakers to use a meat grinder to make peanut butter and spread the result on bread." In June of that same year, the culinary magazineTable Talk published a "peanut butter sandwich recipe."[4] The first reference of peanut butter paired with jelly on bread to be published in the United States was by Julia Davis Chandler in 1901 in the Boston Cooking-School Magazine of Culinary Science and Domestic Economics.[5][6] In the early 1900s, this sandwich eventually moved down the class structure as the price of peanut butter dropped. It became popular with children.[7] During World War II, it is said that both peanut butter and jelly were found on U.S. soldiers' military ration list, as claimed by the Peanut Board. [8]

It was a dark and stormy night, all those years ago, when some evil scientist, hard at work in his evil lair, worked hard on his evil experiments. He planned to use these devilish devices to wreak havoc upon the world. Once the scientist had finally finished his evil machine, he stood back and admired his glowing creation. It glowed with an intense fury, and the scientist stood in awe. When he reached to activate it, destroying the world, he heard a low grumble. His eyes shot open, and he stared at the machine. He was worried that it was the device grumbling. Then he realized it was only his own stomach. He went downstairs and made himself a sandwich.

[*]Name of Sandwich: Ham and cheese sandwich.
[*]Bun Type: Any bread
[*]Meat/s: Ham
[*]Cheese/s: Any
[*]Topping/s: N/A
[*]Toasted: No
[*]Condiments:N/A

[*]Backstory:
The origin of the ham and cheese sandwich has been debated for a number of years by culinary intellectuals. The leading theory as to who first started to produce a ham, cheese and bread dish is mentioned in The Larousse Gastronomique 1961. Here it notes that Patrick Connolly, an 18th-century Irish immigrant to England, sold a bread dish which:

"combined the remains of pig, cured and sliced with a topping of Leicester cheese and a kiss of egg yolk sauce (a form of mayonnaise) in a round bread roll. The dish was rather unimaginatively known as a Connolly and is still sometimes referred to as this in some parts of the Midlands in the UK."
