| The luxurious royal grand hall, heavily decorated and reinforced, this is the place where subjects and nobles alike meet to discuss urgent matters as well as have great events. |
| Izanami Izumi She briskly and elegantly walked across the hall, looking around her grand palace before sitting on the stage at the front of the hall. "What a nice day." she said. |
| Bushido Bushido follows behind Izumi, about 5 meters back. Enough to give her space and enough to protect her at the same time. His left hand rests on his katana which is in its saya, or scabbard as westerners called it. His Naginata is across his back, his yumi and quiver also strapped there. His Kanabo is on his right hip, hanging from a small leather loop. He was covered head to toe in his armor, which he seemingly never took off. Samurai armor was designed to look and be scary and effective. It gave Bushido the effect of looking like a monster guarding its master. At Izumi's comment he, as he usually did, said nothing. Bushido was not one for talk, an action said more than words after all. |
| Izanami Izumi She sat there patiently and elegantly. Her expression calm, reserved, and collected. She was doing paperwork for the Empire, so she had to concentrate. After a few minutes, however, she started to get bored, as her expression and mannerisms slowly deteriorated, going from elegant, to simply calm, to fatigued, until she finally looked like she was just lazy. She looked at Bushido. "Ne Bushido-san, do I really have to do all of this paperwork? It's booring!" She said rather childishly. "And do you never take off that armor? Isn't it hot?" she added. |
| Bushido He looks at Izumi and shrugs, it was not in his job description to understand the politics of the Empire. Paperwork included, but he assumed she could just get a scribe to do it for her. He shakes his head at her question, no he didn't get hot in the armor apparently. He doesn't move except for the head shake. |
| Izanami Izumi She pouted and puffed her cheeks. "Why do you never talk?! You're boring! Hmph!" she said before looking away a bit disgruntled and continue doing the paperwork. |
| Bushido He makes a noise that might have been a chuckle or a laugh, but other than that says nothing. His master amused him, most probably the only person on Earth who did. |
| Izanami Izumi After a while, she finished her tasks and sighed. "It's been pretty quiet, huh Bushido-san." she said. "I mean, there aren't many teritorial wars going on recently, and nothing's going on here too. Perhaps I'll play some music. Can you play an instrument, Bushido-san?" |
| [b]Johnathan[/b] Johnathan walked into the hall smiling and unannounced. "Music is unneeded Izumi-san. I am here." Completely unafraid at being deep in enemy territory, he gently rested Rowen against one of the walls. [b]"How do you fair now a days?" |
| Xiao Fan He followed the captain inside before he stood there, stiff and surprised as a sword suddenly passed him by, cutting a part of his hair and making him fall in shock. Izanami Izumi She quickly used her telepathy to send a sword right towards Johnathan, but intentionally missing both him and his minion. "Ara, I'm sorry Johnathan-san, my hand slipped. It's nice to meet you again. What brings you to our quiet palace?" she said, suddenly changing her aura. |
| [b]Johnathan[/b] He was unfazed by the sword passing by him. [b]"Me? I am here to discuss a little matter of business is all. I figured however that you might entreat me to a cup of tea. I did just carry the poor unconscious girl sitting over there from on top of the mountain after all. Oh, and if I could get a bottle of water for my friends as well, that would be nice." |
| Xiao Fan He gulped and tried to keep calm, which was difficult since a beautiful yet menacing woman was in front of him, and she just almost killed him. Izanami Izumi She nodded and waved, signalling a worker to get some tea and water for them and another to treat his friend as her sharp, red eyes kept looking at Johnathan. "Business? What kind of business would this be?" she said. |
| [b]Johnathan[/b] He smiled. "What kind of business do you think? The Expeditionary force is getting to be annoying. The units of soldiers they have won't leave my territory alone for long. I propose an alliance against them, something that will benefit us both Izumi-san. After all, I know we both would love to see them-" He raised his hand and created a bit of fire on his finger tip "- Go up in flames." |
| Bushido His stature or attitude didn't change upon the arrival of enemies. He didn't need to. Simply because he was always ready to defend, always alert, always ready to protect his lord. His head doesn't move, nor does the rest of his body. But his eyes constantly dart to corners of the room, to the two men who had walked in, to the floor, to the ceiling. Watching for any possible hint of attack. |
| [b]Johnathan[/b] Johnathan smiled at Bushido, and extinguished the flames on his finger tip. [b]"A little on edge are we? You can keep scanning the room, but there really is no point. If I wanted to attack you, I would have come in force, and you would not be living right now." |
| Bushido Bushido ignored the arrogant fool's words. His eyes kept scanning, his hand still rested on his katana, ready to draw it from his saya at a moments notice. He was a samurai, the manifestation of samurai, he did not get provoked easily. |
| Izanami Izumi She casually created a marble sized void orb and flicked it with her fingers, sending it to Johnathan's flame, effectively extinguishing it before continuing to pass Xiao Fan and into a wall, where it created a clean hole through it before disappearing. "Ara Johnathan-san... please refrain from using your powers here..." she said as she opened her blood red eyes. "I wouldn't want the floor stained, after all. she added before the tea and water came. The servant gave the tea to them while the bottle of water was set aside for later. Izumi also waved to Bushido, signalling him to stand down. She then tilted her head rather ominously. "Now then, tell me more of this proposal of yours, Johnathan-san." she said. Xiao Fan His heart almost stopped when he was, for the second time, almost killed as a dangerously powerful void orb passed him by the hair. He had only regained his composure as his tea was served. He continued to take it and nervously take a sip. |
| [b]Johnathan[/b] Aceepting his drink with a thanks, he looked carefully at Izumi. "I would appreciate you refraining from scaring my subordinates Izumi-san, it would be a shame if this grand palace of yours were to go up in smoke after all." Johnathan took a sip of his tea. [b]"My proposal is simple. We gather our forces, and launch simultaneous attacks against the United Nations territory. After we have taken care of them as a threat, we can work out reasonable land agreements and trades, then we go our seperate ways. A simple and easy to inact plan. |
| Bushido Bushido's stance relax's some. But it was a meager amount, instead of his hand being tensed around his katana, it simply held onto it; firmly. His eyes didn't stop scanning though, he was stubborn in an odd way. He didn't think that he know better than Izumi, it was just that the training of a samurai made them this way. Alert and ready. |
| Izanami Izumi She sipped her tea and closed her eyes for a while, before opening them and saying "I will think about it. For now, I do believe it's time for me to continue my duties, so may I reply to your proposal at a later date, Johnathan-san?" |
| [b]Johnathan[/b] Johnathan shrugged, then turned away and walked towards the door. "Xiao Fan, please collect Ms.Rowen please, and try to calm your nerves." He sipped the rest of his tea as he walked, then put it into the hands of the same servant who gave it to him as he passed him, then he left through the door. |
| Izanami Izumi She smiled and nodded at Johnathan. I look forward to meeting you again Johnathan. Take care." she said before looking at Bushido. She urged him to accompany their guests outside. Xiao Fan He nervously nodded and grabbed Rowen before running back to Johnathan, following him out the door. |
| Bushido He didn't want to leave his master's side but she had given him an order, and he would respect her authority. He follows behind Xiao Fan and Johnathan, exactly 5 meters behind with each step. His eyes still continually scanning, his hand still gripping the katana handle. His steps ring with the sound of his armor as the metal hits the floor. |
| Asaka and Alkura A pair of identical girls detached themselves from the shadow of the wall and stepped into the light. They were wearing holsters at their hips with guns in them, and were smiling pleasantly. They both followed after Bushido. "Good morning Bushido-san, how is your day going so far?" They asked in perfect unison, the sounds of their voices matching perfectly. |
| Bushido Bushido spins calmly facing the new arrivals, his katana leaps from the Saya and is leveled in between the two girls, ready to attack either one. Bushido himself crouches into a low stance so that his center of gravity was low and his moves could be more versatile. |
| Asaka & Alkura Both of them retreated a few steps and drew their pistols. At this range, they could not miss. Alkura spoke. "Bushido-San! You are very jumpy today! Don't you remember us? It's the twins! The ones who joined the Suzaku empire and have sworn to follow Lady Izumi?" Asaka smiled, at him enderingly, then spoke. "If you put away yours we'll put away ours!" If he did put his sword away, the girls would then holster their guns. |
| Bushido He relaxed, they had jogged his memory, he remembered them now. He sheaths his katana in his saya and sighs, couldn't they see he had been busy escorting people out of the room? It was too late for that now so Bushido goes to resume his normal position by his master. He passes the girls without a glance, not rude, jut duty bound. |
| Asaka & Alkura Undeterred, the girls match his pace, and Asaka positions herself on his left and Alkura on his right. "Your no fun Bushido-san!" Asaka said playfully, a cheery smile on her face. "Yeah Bushido-san, you should learn to live a little!" Alkura added. |
| Bushido He sighed inwardly, these girls could get annoying, very annoying. Please go away, he mutters quietly, though it was loud enough for them to hear. His voice was coarse and gravely, as if his voice box had been dragged through sad, mud and gravel. |
| Alkura & Asaka Alkura and Asaka did not move, instead, they giggled at the suggestion. "Asaka, he wants us to go away!" Alkura exclaimed to her sister. Asaka laughed and responded with: "Do you think we should Alkura?" Alkura giggled and shook her head. They both turned and faced him, and in perfect unison, said: [b]"Sorry Bushido-San, but were disinclined to aquiest your request!" |
| Bushido Stop pestering me. Go annoy someone else, he says gruffly. These two were perhaps the only two who could get him to talk so easily. They were simply too annoying for him to deal with. He now stops walking as he has reached his master, he stands by her side, ready to guard her. |
| Izanami Izumi She was holding laughter as Bushido showed some ounce of emotion, but she stopped and faked a cough as he returned to her side. She then walked up to the two girls and gripped them both by the head. "Now girls, Bushido-san is busy, as will I in a moment, so why don't you go and scout other areas of the city for enemies? That'd be great." she said. |
| [b]Asaka & Alkura[/b] The pair of girls made pouty faces, but did as he asked, and went a little bit away from him. They were severely disappointed that he would not let them have their fun, but sometimes it's just how worked out. |
| [b]Asaka & Alkura[/b] After a bit, they decided they would wander off to the mountain. After all, since the Byyako league wanted a truce, they wouldn't very well attack them on sight. Smiling, they hummed a tune as they walked off. |
