For some weird reason, I have been thinking that Hajime is actually a psychopath. Despite her overly flamboyant antics, she typically acts on logic. Also the fact that her "emotion" never seems to shift no matter what happens. Like the time when Joe almost got killed by Katze, or the time that Rui almost got killed by Rizumu. For the second, you can make the excuse that she knew about Rui's plan, but the way she doesn't even blink about it. Then there was Joe, where she just casually had a chat with Katze even though Joe was in critical condition. In introspection, this could be why she mentioned that Tsubasa is more qualified to be a Gatchaman then herself, because she herself can't feel. Tsubasa is an idiot, but she feels strongly about justice, and that could be what Hajime lacks.

Hajime is a kind person, but kindness and being a psychopath aren'y mutually exclusive. That is because being kind is a way that society acts in order to seem normal, and so her kindness could just be something that she does in order to feel normal and not alienated.

Hajime is emotionally neutral. But she is obviously a good person as she values peace and freedom.

A psychopath is emotionally unstable, prone to violence/abuse and lacks the discipline to conform to societys rules. Unlike sociopaths, the tend to overtly seek and cause strife to others. But both lack empathy.

Hajime is able to empathize withoht sympathizing or letting her emotions become influenced by others. She also does not judge, deny or ostracize others. This does not mean she is a psychopath though I cansee where ur coming from.

Think Akane from Psycho Pass. She is criminally Asymptomatic like the villain Makishima, but is not a psychopath like him.

I agree. She is too calm and logical that she seems to be emotionless. It seems that the part of her brain which was supposed to develop emotions develops logic and intelligent instead. Or something similar.

she is just a functional psychopath for me at least and those kinds of psychopaths are not really a threat to society, James Bond for example is a functional psychopath

I think yall may be over analyzing her character. She does not let the little things get in the way of the big picture. Some had it right here. She is ruled by logic only so far as that she thinks for herself and does not let others opinions and feelings influence hers. She is the kind of evolved human Rui talks about. Her character ,despite not being the main focus of S2, still shines brightly.

I have a feeling that she has similiar mindset to Vash from Trigun.

By acting like a naive idiot she simply takes away others hantred and frustration on herself. She knows that arguing with people will not change their mind. So its better to give positive remarks all the time and stay positive all the time. This way truth will reach them faster than by arguing. Vash acted in similiar way.

Just like Vash all her actions are really well planned and she knows what actions to take and when.

I'm impressed with the style that Hajime always shows. She has a mysterious and cold quality
