| Wonderful episode. It's always great to see Soleil perform. As expected, Sunrise changed the official Aikatsu8 members to suit the story, which is no problem to me and helps it make the most sense. Since Aikatsu8 is based on popularity the official will most likely won't make sense in the show. Just so you know, the originals from most popular to least popular were: Madoka Mizuki Ichigo Kokone Yurika Akari Mikuru Rin Having Sumire not in the anime Aikatsu8 and having Kokone would look terrible as well as not having Ran and Aoi. The anime one is a pretty good balance since: Ichigo and Mizuki: top 2 idolss Aoi and Ran: part of the top trio unit Sakura: Starlight queen Yurika: Super popular among fans of Aikatsu Sumire and Akari: Most successful 2nd gen idols in Aikatsu No doubt Madoka will be in next year's Aikatsu8 since she's more popular than ICHIGO AND MIZUKI and she only debuted this year |

| Here's my impression about the newest Aikatsu episode. |
| "All life begins with Nu and ends with Nu." However, in Gundam, all life begins with Nu and ends with Hi-Nu. While in KanColle, all life begins with Nu and ends with Kinu. |
| I agree with their choice for the Aikatsu8. I predicted the outcome but was still nervous, cheered the most for Soleil and Akari. |

| Great Aikatsu8 lineup. I thought Seira might get in but never mind. I wanna see Sumire have scenes with Mizuki and/or Yurika I wanna see Akari with Ichigo again And PLEASE GOD lemme see Ran x Yurika again, just once. On a side note, best performance of Idol Activity I have EVER seen. 10/10 great episode. |

| I was hoping Juri would make it and Mizuki would not make it, but even so, it's a hell of a lot better than last season's disaster of an Aikatsu8. It'll probably only be a thing for 2-3 episodes like last time, though. And thank Aikatsu Kokone didn't make it, she would have ruined the whole thing for me. |
| I really like the Aikatsu8 line up this year. I was thinking at first it was unrealistic that all of a sudden it is all Starlight girls, but the anime kind of justified it by repeatedly talking about how it was "important to be active during the voting period." So I guess since the DreAca girls have been off the radar for a season it makes sense they weren't voted into the Aikatsu8 this year. But...is the Aikatsu8 going to tour/perform this season? Soleil performed this episode, and next episode is about Akari/Sumire/Hinaki making a unit for the School Festival. Idk why they would go to the trouble of even having an Aikatsu8 episode if we aren't getting a new performance out of it? Also, lol Mizuki didn't speak this episode. It was weird to see her just be in the background. Even Mikuru got a line...haha |
| Dang, it's a dream come true. Mini Mizuki and Mizuki on the same unit. But the best highlight was our two most beloved girls making the cut. Kiriya Aoi Shibuki Ran How I waited for this moment. My 3 favorite girls all on the same 8 unit team. Ran deserves this call up, she's one of the most dedicated hard working idols. Aoi as well, she's been long overdue for the Aikatsu8. But now it's the Dream Team, what almost everyone wanted to see last year, and good thing DreAca didn't make it. Heck, they didn't even get a cameo appearance here, as in being present in the nominations. For some reason I was hoping to see Powa Powa Puririn make the team as well. It would have been one hell of a unit. Mizuki, Soleil, Powa Powa, Yurika. That 3 person unit competition will be intense. We already know 2 units who will possibly enter, Powa Powa and Soleil. Now the question is who else will join. Preview show one team in the making, but I think there's room for a few more. Juri, Madoka and Rin. |

| I totally forgot that the Aikatsu8 right now has the same girls from StarAnis, with Kaede not making the Aikatsu8. It's pretty much StarAnis v2 |

| Its great to know Soleil are together this time and also Sumire and Akari too. Don't care much about Hinaki, but the trio will form a unit next episode! Fun episode. |

| Fuck you Hinaki, nobody loves you, just drop dead, will ya? Hinaki was a mistake. Nuff said. I'm happy to see Yurika in best 8 and it's 3rd time!!!! Only Mizuki, Ichigo and Yurika were chosen 3 times. She is absolutely fantastic character. But looks like Best 8 mean nothing now because they start this unit shit again... |

| Fuck yes,Idol Activity! Throwback feels! First performance I enjoyed in the last who knows how many episodes. They should have played it back when they had left for their tour not whatever that other song was. Aikatsu 8 results were rather predictable for the most part except for Sakura (which I had forgot was Starlight Queen),Yurika (which seemed like a completely random choice honestly,though this might just be my bias since I never liked her),thought Hinaki might be picked but she didn't seems worthy honestly imo,thought Rin might get pick as well but guess they couldn't give her an advantage over Madoka+plus being a first year and all made her not qualified yet. |

| Aikatsu8 is back. That's nice. Yurika sweetheart is getting some screen time which is great. And DreAca was ignored once again. I miss those girls so much. :( |

| I knew something was missing. I haven't been this excited to Aikatsu since I saw the movie a couple of years ago. It's probably because it's been that long since seeing Ichigo & Soleil in action that this feels like such a nostalgic homecoming. I'm a bit taken aback by Akari making it into the Aikatsu8 though. Given the heart to heart she had with Ichigo, I thought that perhaps Hinaki would have been chosen. Thematically, it feels like it would have made more sense for Akari to be the only one left out, in sharp contrast to Ichigo being the only one chosen out of her trio. It definitely could have made for a dynamic way to see Akari learn to carve out her own path and not fall behind the others who were chosen. Also really wondering what on Earth happened to Dream Academy. It's one thing for them to have no new talent whatsoever, but not even Seira made it? I'm hoping there's a reason later on, perhaps that they'll come back for Soleil's new festival event. |

| So happy to see Soleil is back and the Aikatsu8 result. As expected none of DreAca girls is back and it feels damn right to have them at all. Raichi is pretty much on point with his prediction. They pretty much assembled a dream unit. |
