coming back to this 3ish years later and oh nooooo i was hoping to use this to catch up to the bl world T^T
was hopin for some new recs but i read a lot of what's been recommended when the recs came out lol

but i should contribute too. here are some recs that might start a discussion
if ya'll haven't, the "manga that left an impact on you" has peeps rec'ing one of the best i've read.

my bias is reversible couples btw.

i haven't really been reading manga unfortunately because of college. what still stands out in my mind after these years are the mangaka yamashita tomoko, nakamura asumiko (her manga can be so tragic i can't it hurts so good!), hayakawa nojiko, yamada yugi, fumi yoshinaga, urgh forgot her name but the one who did undergrand hotel, hidaka shoko....mmmmm that's what comes to mah mind as of now.

i also like slice of life and recently reread (at least what's out) kinou nani tabeta and hana wa saku ka and still really liked them.

hi!

i'm new regarding reading manga (as you can see on my list, almost all manga i've read this year), i'm still getting to know what i like and what gender means what (i'm just bad with it, i read what i like, it's as simple as that :)) but i've already read a few bl mangas and, i must say, i'm realizing that i'm harder to "satisfy" with each manga i read :) but lately the ones that really got my attention are:

I read Ten Count, and I really enjoyed it!

I find I enjoy manga where it's in more of a military-like setting, and the uke usually isn't that girly. For example, things like Maiden Rose, Black Sun Doreiou, and Ryoshuu Reijin.
