| Meh, ending felt strange and the story could of been expanded much longer. I think the series should of portrayed with Anna being a cold blooded killer the majority of the time. By the final chapter, I feel like she's changed. |

| The art style was good. But it was kinda shoujo-ish for an action manga. The story was kinda meh. I don't understand why it's tagged as mystery and horror. It was more into action, there's no mystery and it wasn't gory or terrifying to be considered as horror. |

| That was such a strange way to end the story. When Yuri threw his coat over Shouno I assumed he pretended to stab her and would turn around and kill Anna (or at least lead her to police downstairs) but...fine, playing it straight instead of inserting the "not actually dead" twist is good once in awhile. And him finally giving in to Anna after spending the entire story on the fence, trying to calm Anna and generally being the one who was most aware of the consequences of their actions, was off-putting but, again, good once in awhile. Would've also liked to see more about the cult, especially that long-haired girl who seemed to be the leader. I assume Anna killed them on the roof? They seemed to be gearing up for battle and then...a big fat nothing. Honestly, the way Anna acted there should've been another red flag for Yuri and a confirmation of what Nishikawa was saying: after Anna got her revenge (which was partly taken from her because her father had already died long ago), she wasn't interested in even the people she claimed to care about i.e. cutting Mitsuba down or even checking on him. I guess Yuri kept seeing his dead mother because he felt guilty? That whole subplot seemed to be building up to something that never happened. Anna turning chibi while swinging a rifle around in public...just wtf was that even about. Total mood whiplash moment. Idk, the "murderers in love" trope didn't work in this story. Anna was too much of a manic pixie dream girl and Yuri barely stood out from the background most of the time. Overall it didn't feel like an ending chapter, and I frankly don't understand what was hinted at at the end: were they going to storm police HQ to rescue Kitani? Hunt down any cult members who escaped? Run off and try to live as inconspicuously as possible (while swinging a rifle around in public lmao) ? It's a 6/10 for me, mostly for the art and side characters. It had some tense moments but the ending ruined it all. |
| Man, what a disappointing ending... I feel if there were a few more volumes it could've been much better, but everything felt so rushed and it squandered all the potential this manga had |
