| Shall I watch the TV series or the movie? Or shall I watch both, then which one should be first - the movie or the tv series? Synopis for bot animes are very similar but mal's tags are very different. It seems like the movie is more darker than tv series. Am I right? Or is it because it has some fanservice? |
| This reply is probably too late, but you should watch the anime first and then the movie. The movie isn't darker than the anime, a bit weirder maybe, and it will be hard to understand it unless you see the anime first. |

I see you in few hours and say what I think about it ;) Edit: review Alright, first good things about the movie: Alright, prepare for bad things then: I gave 6/10, only because certain differences on characters compared to tv series. Was really disappointed on this movie. Too many bad things vs good things. IMO movie MAL page should be rewritten, or atleast "Loose retelling" changed to "Alternative version" |

Yeah, this one confused me for the longest time too. She actually doesn't have short hair, she just puts it up in a way to make it look like she does. I can't find it, but there was a character design sheet that showed how her hair is tied up and pinned to the base of her skull with the shorter top hair covering it up to give the impression of having a short hair cut. |
| I actually liked the movie more, always thought the show was too long and unfocused. Atleast till the movie turns into a fucking race. Literally. |
