| Today the final cast for the Cullens was announced on Stephenie Meyer's official website. Cast: Robert Pattison as our beloved Edward Cullen ~ though we already knew this Peter Facinelli as Carlisle Elizabeth Reaser as Esme Jackson Rathbone as Jasper Nikki Reed as Rosalie Ashley Greene as Alice Kellan Lutz as Emmett Source:http://stepheniemeyer.com/twilight_movie.html <- There are pictures of them all together! Other than Rob as Edward, I don't really like the rest of the cast much. I know that I shouldn't be expecting the actors to completely fulfill my expectations, but some of these choices are a bit disappointing,in the pictures provided on the site anyway. The guy who plays Jasper, Jackson Rathbone, looks like he is wearing a wig. Esme and Carlisle look old! I swear they're supposed to be like 23. I thought Alice would look a bit more pixey like and smaller/skinnier, but she is alright I suppose. Rosalie.... well the book made her seem as if she was some kind of beauty, I know we all have our own opinions, but she doesn't fill in the role properly to me. The only person I don't really have any qualms about is the actor for Emmett. Well anyway, that's my opinion on the cast, let's hear yours! |

| I agree with Jasper -- he looks like a bad choice, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. D: I like the girl for Alice; she fits my mental image pretty darn well. Rosalie is looking good too, and I've been happy about Edward since the beginning. I'm neutral about Emmett, Esme, and Carlisle thus far. We shall see~ |

| I hate the actresses played esme and rosalie, i don't think they suit them at all! i like jasper and alice, though i'm not too keen on bella and edward i think emmets ok, though i also don't like carlisle, but i don't hate him quite as much as besme XD |

| I'm happy with Alice, she fits my mental image perfectly. Emmett's looking pretty good as well. I wasn't keen on Rob as Edward but he's grown on me, I'm neutral with Bella but her acting in the clips I've seen puts me off. The others I'm not too keen on at all. |

| Honestly, I don't think I liked any of them at first, but they have definitely grown on me. I'm absolutely in love with Robert Pattinson as Edward, and I think Kristen will make a great Bella. The only one I'm still unsure of is Esme, since she's been out of the spotlight (she's in a play on broadway now) and I know almost nothing about her. Well, for now I've decided to give her the benefit of the doubt. In the end, I know I'll see the movie no matter what, so, does it really matter? =P |

| I personally think they all fit the bill...except for Jackson Rathbone as Jasper. I'm not too keen on him. I don't think he was exactly how I pictured Jasper would look like. They did a great job though casting Kellan Lutz as Emmett and Nikki Reed as Rosalie. They fit their characters perfectly. Peter Faciinelli looks like he'll be pretty good too as Carlisle, but I'll have to wait and see. |
