| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Pretty good episode, much better than the previous two. It was really good idea with the neutral mechabeast. I was thinking that Baron Ashura would enrage it somehow, but turns out Boss and his gang are the most reliable for stupid things like that haha. In the end, it was a pretty sad episode. Best part of the episode/series: |

| Eh, pretty meh episode this one, couldn't even care enough about Spartan. Only moment I liked was when they met and "lets just lay down here and chill" and din't fight (at first). |

| Great episode! t was nice seeing a mechanical beast with a soul who was had to deal with being forced to fight against his will. Did anyone else notice that after Mazinger Z's fist blew up they briefly re-used some old animation that had but arms fully intact? |

| Liked the backstory they gave Spartan K5 being a former warrior and all. When they laid down and chill was pretty lol worthy,a sort of weird bromance was going on in that scene. Noticing the mechanical beasts are getting tougher by the episode,Spartan only being beat this episode cause of the dynamite Dr.Hell's minions planted in it. |
| Wow! Mazinger Z is no longer invincible, again Baron Ashura was about to win against Koji, but the most interesting thing is another. This episode denotes how the anime series was projected in the future. The concept of a robot with a conscience, as I remember, a similar reference is in GITS, will only come after many years. |
